Seriously, have you checked out spagyric devices in Advanced Options: Alchemists' Discoveries? Even if it doesn't have the breadth you'd like to see I'm interested in your take on it as a framework for a steampunk madboy.
While I have gotten that PDF, I must admit that I haven't really looked over it in any real depth. I'll try to remember to go over it tonight. One thing that I did have the idea for was to use a system similar to the Summoner's evolution pool to create a robotic companion (I called it a "mechanoid").

While it hasn't been done quite yet, I can easily see an archetype for the Summoner class transforming it into a steampunk style clockwork specialist. A clockwork eidolon is easily done with just some reflavoring of many existing abilities and a few additional ones to capture the essence of the genre. Then swap out a few class abilities and modify the spellcasting (perhaps make it more like the alchemist?) to further fit the theme.

Just last night the idea of a Clockwork Summoner metamagic feat came up at my game table. The basic idea was to summon monster, but it comes with a built-in crossbow for ranged attacks. Not much development on the idea yet, but it could easily combine with the clockwork eidolon concept.

Too... many... threads...
WHY AM I JUST SEEING THIS NOW?!?!?

Oh, my beloved and under appreciated cavalier... maybe next year...
thanks a bunch for the SGG to Cavalier Orders, though. That should tide me over for a while...
Glad you like Advanced Options: Cavaliers' Orders!!! :)

My thoughts...combine the spagyric devices with a clockwork eidolon and maybe a death ray (ranged weapon equivalent to bombs, but with only a single target). I think that combination would scratch my itch pretty well. Maybe those could be two more forms of alternate alchemy for Alchemists' Discoveries II.

For reference, you might find this interesting.
Personally, I'd rather let someone craft Effigies from that one Complete Book (Adventure? Warrior?) than have a clockwork Eidolon.

So it has been a bit, just wondering who many and which ones off that big list might we see in 2011?
Well, of course we did the Time Waden as the voted-on sequel to the Time Thief. we've done another Kragnar's guide since then, and a sequel to Runic Might, and Fire Magic.
I'm actively working on the Temptress class, and both Brawn & Brutality and Slither & Scale race books. More print books (in a slightly different format) start this weekend with the Time War as a PaizoCon exclusive, and other books should begin regular distribution later in the year.

The risk with a 3PP doing a crunch-heavy supplement like epic-level, psionics, or the like that Paizo hasn't covered YET is that when Paizo DOES do their version, the sales of that 3PP product are likely to plummet to all but nonexistent.

Thats, cool about the temptress and the rest. Was just curious which ones where in the works.
We love that you are curious! And to be clear I have plans for a lot more of those books.. but most aren't further along than playtesting one or two ideas. That's the list of things that have partial manuscripts already.
Time War? cool.
Yep. It compiles and slightly expands the time thief/time warden material (with at least one previously unseen picture of each model)

That's absolutely true, and on a small scale we're run into that (medusa locks vs prehensile hair, for example). But with those risks can come major rewards, as Psionics Unleashed has proven.
The main thing holding me back right now is that my epic level rules are 4 paragraphs long, and that doesn't make for much of a product. I guess if we do the Guide to the Geniuses' Houserules, we might include those.

Is Time War going to be available as a pdf to those of us who dont make it to paizo con or is it completely paizocon exclusive?

Between reading this entire thread to figure out what the Temptress will be, and seeing that SGG stuff is half-off today, I now have more new classes to look at than I can shake a stick at.
Edit: Wow, Shadow Death Mages with Fetishes would be amazing to play! I didn't even notice that the Adventurer's Handbook was a Print/PDF bundle. I can't wait to show it to my group!

THIS version of Time War is a print-only, PaizoCon 2011-only product. It's a very short print run. realistically if we don't sell out, a few dozen might end up for sale through the Paizo store after the Con. And it compiles and slightly expands existing material, the time thief and time warden PDFs.
That doesn't preclude the possibility of a different version of roughly the same content coming out in print, or as a print/pdf bundle, later on.

Well that is somewhat disappointing. I dont like the idea of a time based SGG product I dont own existing. Heck there are only a handful of products in your whole line i dont have. Damn paizo con being so far away *fist shaking*

Well if any are left over, I suspect they'll be for sale only here at Paizo. :)
And you can always ask someone who IS going to PaizoCon to pick one up for you.
But we need something to lure people at the con away from their game tables and over to our sales table.

Myself and several others acquired the services of top men who will be doing such a thing for us non-attendees.
Top men.
