High Level Adventures

I am going to be converting my group over to Pathfinder after this campaign. I want to work on getting our next campaign mapped out from Level 1 to level 20. So, where are all the high level Pathfinder adventures? I can find, at the highest, level 17. I know I could take an old 3.5 adventure and convert it to Pathfinder, but I'm lazy. :P I was just wondering if I am missing something.

The highest level adventure we currently have is "The Witchwar Legacy" - there is just not a lot of demand (at this time) for that level of play. The final part of the Adventure Paths are usually in the 15th+ level range, and could be adapted for higher play by swapping out higher level or advanced versions of the enemies you face.

Keep letting us know that you want high-level adventures - we do listen!

The Witchwar Legacy is our highest-level module so far. It starts at 17th level, but your PCs should get to about 18th level by the time they finish it. After that, it's up to you!

Yeah, that's what I found looking on here. I just think that if you are planning a campaign with a group of people and you use your Adventure Paths that take them all the way to 15th, it's like "Well, I want to take my character all the way to 20th". Again, I know I could create my own or convert other 3.5 material, but, to have an Adventure Path that took you all the way to level 20 (keeping the same flavor of the overall arc) would be awesome. I hope you guys end up creating something like that. It would definitely be a buy for me. Guess I need to start scrounging my old 3.5 material now. <sigh>

You could try this.

One of the things I do is harvest the APs for NPCs, Monsters, and Magic Items. For High Level Play this is fairly easy to do - typically the kind of things you need can be found in the fifth and sixth book of each series.

Also, the Witchwar module is FANTASTIC. It is VERY easy to convert to other settings with minimal ease.

You might also look around on the dicefreaks website. I haven't been out there in ages, but they used to have TONS of high level threats.

Finally, if you go to the Pathfinder SRD website you will find links to several pages that host user created content. I have raided those more than once.

Good luck!

I am running the Shattered Star AP but wanted to incorporate Mythic levels with it. I was hoping to run it as an Mythic campaign going from level 1 to 20th. Any suggestions about modules or other sources that might be helpful to incorporate as a way to continue the adventure so that my players can get to 20th level?

I will admit that I don't have the time and patience to write up a story and then figure out encounters to create an additional part to the AP. So, just looking for suggestions or if there is anything I'm missing.

I realize there hasn't been enough demand for high level adventures, but with the introduction of Mythic paths, it would be nice to have supplements for the APs that can be incorporated if you want to run them with Mythic. Then, again, if I had the time I would be able to figure something out on my own. Just a suggestion if there isn't anything currently out there. I love Pathfinder and Paizo's products.

Here is a possible way to incorporate mythic rules into Shattered Star, in case you haven't seen it.

That said, additional adventures in Magnimar, such as Dawn of the Scarlet Sun (5th level), can be used as interludes and side-quests. Some adventures that can be adapted to Magnimar or may be less location specific include The Godsmouth Heresy (1st level) and The Harrowing (9th level). If you don't mind some work in adapting it to Pathfinder (and a slight increase in power level), Seven Swords of Sin (7th level) could be a good scenario to run near the beginning of the party's exploration of Kaer Maga (or, alternately, in Magnimar before they travel to Kaer Maga).

One possible start of an outline: The Godsmouth Heresy (set in Magnimar, instead of Kaer Maga), Shards of Sin (the PC's adventures in The Godsmouth Heresy are what attract the attention of Sheila Heidmarch), Dawn of the Scarlet Sun, Curse of the Lady's Light (there are some interesting possibilities for tie-ins with Dawn of the Scarlet Sun), Seven Swords of Sin (more Thassilonian tie-ins), The Harrowing (especially if there is a PC with Varisian heritage), The Asylum Stone... This gives the PCs a bit more time in between mythic tiers, as well as a boost to XP/level gains. There's a distinct lack of suitable adventures after 10th level, though; you could consider using some of the material from Rise of the Runelords (Hook Mountain Massacre, Fortress of the Stone Giants), Curse of the Crimson Throne (A History of Ashes), and/or Second Darkness (The Armageddon Echo), as well as Dungeons of Golarion (The Hollow Mountain, especially).

Check out the Adventure Finder, but there's not much after 17th level, unfortunately!

Actually, I'm running a Strange Aeons session, that I've added mythic tiers to, and I fully plan on running this scenario to character level 25+/MR8+. It is some serious reworking of various side quests so that PC's have enough exp to level, and making a coherent story that can successfully arc all of this stuff is rather daunting. However, if you approach it with creativity, I think it can be done. Right now, the PC's are 10/MR3 and I basically needed to make their party a WHM (I actually have a bunch of fun playing this oracle, who is non-mythic), or they'd have died a long time ago. As of right now, we just finished book 3, and the "parade of side-quests" is about to start, as I've had to substantially modify the main story line to make it all fit, with options for just about everything (because I usually really dislike railroading).
