Any chance we'll ever see a technology based supplement from Paizo?

Short of a supplement detailing the Mana Wastes and Alkenstar (Which I would LOOOOVVE) I highly doubt it since this is the most technologically advanced nation due to the fact that magic just doesn't work there and everywhere else this kind of sophistication is very (VERY) rare to non existent.

Sighhh Alkenstar... My love. I wish the chances of seeing a supplement for it weren't so slim! There is mention in the Campaign Setting of clockworks being developed outside of Alkenstar, and there's the Clockwork Citadel (or was it Cathedral?) in Absalom too, so there's some development going on in the Inner Sea.

On top of what folks in modern Golarion are developing (but less of a concern for me), there's the sci-fi level technology scattered all across Numeria and the old Azlanti/Shori electro-thaumaturgy and aeromatic infadibulum. And then there's the inevitables we're about to get in Bestiary 2 come December, and Axis seems like a pretty advanced place... Enough for a supplement? Beats me.

Zobeck is a good clockwork supplement and it's already been located in the River Kingdoms in Golarion. [unofficially of course.]

Oh... Oh my. Thanks very much for pointing this one out to me! I suddenly wish I hadn't blown all my money on New Vegas. Consider $10 of my next paycheck spent!

There you go!

I like the supplement, it's pretty cool! I got the Zobeck Gazeteer,
It contains Clockwork magic and makes kobolds a very playable race, as the Kobolds of Zobeck are more civilized. Could call them Zobolds.

The Green Ronin Advanced Bestiary also contains some great templates for creating clockwork style creatures, including "metal", clockwork, war machine and a couple others.

Prolly have to get a PDF copy, the print version might be hard to get ahold of, one of my favorite books.

I'd certainly be interested in such a supplement if it 'plays well with others' (i.e. all the normal assumptions of the game).

I too love steampunk, both the anachronistic tech and the rebelliousness of it (an oft overlooked aspect in a lot of games).

What specific features of the genre are you looking to introduce? It could simply be a matter of "reskinning" already existing items/abilities.

For example: Wands of ray spells can look like guns, stat enhancing items can be described as intricate clockwork contraptions, and just about any animated object can substitute for the steam powered automatons.

One element of steampunk I was going to introduce into an Absalom campaign involved an intelligent golem (who claims to be the the last made in old Azlant) taking the test of the starstone and then granting sentience to a construct race his followers were churning out for him.

hehehe I LIKE that!

I would pay good money for a Paizo quality steampunk supplement. I would be surprised to see such a book since I don't know how well it would really mesh with Golarion. Which is too bad because my homebrew has advanced to a steampunk setting and there is little quality crunch on the genre. Paizo produces such quality products I know they would do something WAY more impressive than the material currently on the market.

Steampunk fantasy stuff is often uneven when it comes to crunch, especially for the purposes of introducing into your own world. The [reviously mentioned Zobeck is about as good as it gets for a fantasy setting based on 3rd ed. Although in someways its more "cogpunk."

I have had better luck with d20M for steampunk, but that isn't all that transportable into Golarion.

That kind of reminds me of the Construct Council from Perdido Street Station.

And that is not a bad thing.
