I am looking at converting from 3.5 to pathfinder and was wondering which gods from the new Pathfinder RPG would match up best to fit the role of their 3.5 counterpart. I do not have halflings in my world so that is why Yondalla is left out. However, upon a close inspection this is what I came up with. I would appreciate any suggestions, changes or outright criticism as I want this to be as closely matched as possible.
Abadar: None equal!
Nethys/ Boccob
Corellon Larethian/Cayden Cailean
Ehlonna/Sarenrae
Pelor/Erastil
Erythnul/Rovagug
Fharlanghn/Desna
Garl Glittergold/Shelyn
Gruumsh/Lamashtu
Heironeous/Iomedae
Hextor/Asmodeus
Kord/Gorum
Moradin/Torag
Nerull/Urgathoa
Obad-Hai/Gozreh
Olidammara/Calistria
St Cuthbert/Irori
Vecna/Norgorber
Wee Jas/Pharasma
Appreciate any assistance!!

Most of your matches are on the money.
For some I would have gone -
Sarenrae/Pelor
Ketephys/Ehlonna
Celestian/Desna
Istus/Pharasma
Beory/Gozreh
Nerull/Norgorber
Berronar Truesilver/Erastil
(wife or Moradin)

I was having the most trouble with Pelor/Ehlonna and Sarenrae. I finally figured I would go with Ehlonna/Sarenrae and Pelor/Erastil just because it made both matches somewhat close, although I did feel Pelor matched better with Sarenrae better. I just then couldn't find a match for Ehlonna. In my current game we don't have any other gods besides the core 3.5 ones. Appreciate your thoughts!!

Though it's a slight alignment shift, I think Cayden Cailean is more like Olidamarra, and Calistria is more like Correlon Larethian, at least personality and iconography wise.
And though it's 4e, Pharasma is probably more like the Raven Queen than she'd be like Wee Jas.
It would never be a perfect match up anyway. Urgathoa is much more fun than Nerull, and even if they are related, would you rather worship Morticia Addams or Uncle Fester? Actually, even Uncle Fester is more entertaining than Nerull, who's just this boring skeleton who wants to kill everyone and acts like an undead toddler with ADHD.

in my home game i've equated Iomedae more with a Pelor & Herineous combo than Pelor with Sarenrae. it has more to do with how the church of Pelor was in my game world fitting the themes of Iomedae pretty spot on than anything else.
i think the beauty aspect of Shelyn fits well with Correllon, whereas the freedom and revelry of Garl Glittergold mesh perfectly with Cayden.
i also think that Adabar and St Cuthbert are a good mirror, though Adabar is certainly less militant.
for evil gods, i don't have a good equate with Grummsh, but i liken Erythnul more to Lamashtu; Zon-Kuthon and Norgorber both snatch out parts of Nerull, while Norgorber and Urgathoa split Vecna.

I am trying to match them up more for my own campaign world and some flavor in bringing the changes of gods to my home brewed world. I am going to continue to play in my world, but was thinking of some way to have the current gods challenged by some foreign god influence from an alternate material plane. These new gods would be the pathfinder ones. When changing the 3.5 system to Pathfinder (expecially with the gods) I don't simply stop the worship of the old gods and start up with the new ones. I like for this to occur through some change in the world. It can be a very slow transformation where the commonfolk start to lose faith in the old gods and then these new gods start to recognize this weakness and try and gain the following of the commonfolk to eventually attempt to overthrow the current gods from their lofty positions within the world.
Could be a god war something like 4th edition or much different, but in the end the new gods eventually gaining the power.
I would love thoughts and ideas on how this could be done in some dramatic fashion!!!
