The Rogue Driver sheet is downloading as a standard Rogue sheet, rather than an altered Driver sheet.

I found an error in the Unchained Monk sheet. "Wholeness of Body" is still listed in that progression table, though it's a ki power for Unchained Monks, not a normal class feature like with the core Monk.

Call me dumb, but can anybody explain how the Map Cutouts are supposed to be assembled. Possibly using pictures

No pictures, but I can try and explain.

1. Cut them out, preferably using a sharp scalpel, but scissors will do. Please don't injure yourself.

If you're using a scalpel, the black marks around the outside are for positioning a ruler or equivalent to make it easier to cut in straight lines.

Also cut little letterbox holes where marked in the middle. Make sure to cut the tab slightly smaller than the letterboxes.

2. Fold it so that the two large sides are vertical, the letterboxes line up, and the base is a flat square (*).

The square with the cross-hatching faces down. The half-square with the cross-hatching and the glue symbol gets covered up by the half-square at the other end with the tab. The tab should fit through the letterboxes.

3. Optionally, unfold it in order to glue the sides together. Put a bit of glue on the half-square marked with the glue symbol, to affix the corresponding half-square over it. A bit of glue on the inside as well can help it hold together.

(*) Actually more like a squircle.

Any chance of the Unchained Monk and Driver Rogue being repaired? And potential Spell Slinger Wizard Archetype being made? :)

Starfinder Archetypes:

Well, Fishguts. That's going to make things complicated.

That seriously sounds like Prestige Classes rather than Archetypes, and even those have prerequisites.

Except that they still swap in class features like Archetypes:

Quote:

Unlike Pathfinder archetypes, which must be designed for a single specific character class it can be added to, Starfinder archetypes are designed to be applicable to any character class. Each class has specific class features it gives up at set levels (2nd, 4th, 6th, 9th, 12th, and 18th) if the archetype provides an alternative class feature at that level (though not every archetype will need to have alternate class features at all those levels). An archetype thus becomes part of the class you attach it to, and that class loses a pre-determined ability at the levels the archetype grants you an alternative. For example, the Starfinder Core Rulebook has two archetypes—the phrenic adept and the Starfinder forerunner. The phrenic adept has alternate class features at every level it can—2nd, 4th, 6th, 9th, 12th, and 18th—while the Starfinder forerunner only provides alternate class features at 2nd, 4th, and 6th.

You must decide to add an archetype to a class when you gain the first class level at which the archetype has an alternate class feature. For example, the Starfinder forerunner archetype grants its first alternate class feature (trained for trouble) at 2nd level. So if you take a second level of a class, and decide to add the Starfinder forerunner archetype, you gain trained for trouble as a class feature. What you give up depends on what class you took—a mechanic that gains the archetype would not receive the mechanic trick normally available at 2nd level, while a mystic would gain 1 fewer spells known for the highest level of spell it can cast, and so on. Every class outlines what class feature it forgoes if it has an archetype added that has an alternate class feature at that level. Each class you take can have at most one archetype attached to it, and you cannot attach the same archetype to more than one class if you multiclass.

So they're definitely not separate like prestige classes. They vary a specific class you're taking levels in, it's just that they could be applied to any class.

To put it another way, a Mechanic/phrenic adept cross-classed with a Soldier is different from a Mechanic cross-classes with a Soldier/phrenic adept. They're each going to need separate pages. That's a lot of pages, and even if their construction is more regular than in Pathfinder, it still isn't quite so regular that they can be separated out.

It's actually very well suited to the way something like Hero Lab works, just not to mine.

So what can we look forward to in an upcoming batch? Any wizard or additional Rogue Archetypes? (Like Heister)

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I haven't added many archetypes in the current batch, but there are a few things you can expect:

- Russian translation
- A fix for the "d00" bug that's appearing on all the translations right now.
- A number of other bug fixes
- Path of War

Just so I'm clear here, this isn't supposed to be a digital sheet, right? I enter the class I want, pick a picture, and then it downloads me an otherwise blank character sheet for that class so that I can print it out?

Right. These are all about printing out and writing on in pencil (*). The design would be very different for a digital sheet.

( * I actually prefer to use Frixion erasable pens )

Cool. I spent far too long trying to figure out why it wasn't letting me enter a name or select skills/feats. LOL

You can see in the preview above, it has both books. But only the base classes so far, not archetypes.

I'll be roleplaying on the 11th with a few friends. I'll see if we find anything wrong with them after printing out a few of them.

Please.

If it helps incentivise you...

I used the Warder for a level 14 one-shot on Sunday. While I played an archetype (Ordained Defender, so not that many changes), it worked really well.

Hi-

sadie, Thanks SO MUCH for your character sheets. Love them.

I'm having trouble with uploading my own picture. The ones I tried just didn't show up on any page, at all. Not even in the preview shown before you download.

Granted, these were random google images and I didn't check the sizes (format jpg and png)

So is there some kind of size/file type restrictions I should be adhering too? Or is this a bug?

There's no specific size limit, and both JPG and PNG should be fine. It is the most unreliable part of the system though, prone to giving up and going home because some file's permissions somewhere aren't perfect. I'll take another look at it.

Everything went quite well. Unfortunately, I heard no complaints or tweeks for the sheets, so I don't know precisely where any issues for them are. :(

Heh. The more the merrier.

Any ETA on a fix for the d00 HP bug? No rush, just curious.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

It'll be fixed in the next version, which is hopefully due out in a few weeks.

Thank you for making these sheets Sadie. I really like them and want to print out the sheets for my group this weekend. Unfortunately, I'm running into the "d00" bug which makes actually using the sheets a bit inconvenient.

Is there an archive of a previous version of the sheets without this known issue? I don't want to add pressure for your current development and would be happy with a previous version.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Sadly the d00 bug affects all the translations, including American English, but not the original British English.

It'll be fixed in the next version, due out... er... soon.

Ah, well the British English version looks like it will work just fine. Thanks for the help and for continuing to develop the sheets. They're really fantastic!

Playing a Warlord in a one-shot this Sunday, looking forward to using the Warlord PoW page.

The warlord sheet worked great. The only snag I had was that I used a presence from PoW:E (Gladiator's Presence for my 9th level one), instead of the standard PoW presence, so I had to cross the regular one out and write the new one in the margins. Not a big deal, especially how tight the page's real estate already is for more write-in work.

Shadow Lodge

These are really nice. (Wish I could apply them to sCoreForge spreadsheet data, but that's probably an insurmountable amount of work.)

Hmm. If they can be swapped with other options, then I could leave the details of presences blank to be filled in, while keeping the level 7, 11 and 15 features as they are.

Roll up, roll up! It's been a long time coming, but the latest release is live. And I think it's the best one yet.

New website!

Spoilers: it's the old website with a new name. It's on a nice new server as well, which has let me put SSL on the site.

The new website is here: dyslexic-charactersheets.com

Path of War

The most requested third-party module is finally available. All six classes (no archetypes yet) from Path of War and Path of War Expanded.

Russian and Portuguese

Two new translations have been added to the project: Portuguese and Russian!

The other translations have also had a lot of stuff fixed and improved on them. Show some appreciation to my wonderful volunteer translators.

New features

Craft, Perform and Profession skills are now available for including directly in the skills list. There's been a lot of work on the way skills get translated.

I'm continuing the work of moving pseudo-skills into the skills list as well. Things like Track, Disarm Traps and Wild Empathy. This now includes Concentration, which is moving from each class's page onto the main skill list.

Bugs fixed

The d00 bug has been fixed!

A lot of other bugs have been fixed as well, so many that I can't even remember half of them. Some of them go back years, some of them were only reported a few days ago. If you've ever reported a bug and been sad that it was left unfixed, now is the time to look again.

New Facebook group

To encourage more interaction and collaboration, I've created a Facebook group for this project. It's open for anyone to join.

Facebook group: dyslexic-charactersheets

New Paizo thread

This discussion thread is seven years old today. It's grown a little unwieldy, so to make things less intimidating for newcomers I've started a fresh one.

New paizo thread

The project is older than that, because I started with D&D 3.5 before adapting to Pathfinder.

Liberty's Edge

Oops. Fixed!

Stumbled across these and am very impressed. That said, I tried to set up a sample and found I could not combine compatible archetypes, nor could Unchained take them (was supposed to be an Unchained Chameleon & Scout Rogue). Still, awesome job!

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Combining archetypes is a weakness of the way my sheets work: I'd have to make pages for every possible combination separately. That's just not happening when there are other, more pressing things to add to it.

My understanding of the Unchained classes is that the balance between their features is sufficiently different from the base (chained) version to mean that archetypes can't apply - even if they have the same abilities the archetype replaces. Are you sure an Unchained Scout Rogue is even an option?

Thanks for the response! I can understand your reason.

Now,

The Unchained classes can take archetypes they qualify for, with a few notable exceptions:

UnMonk can only take archetypes that specifically calls them out as being available to them, which means that all the previous archetypes are now Core Monk only. A good example of how UnMonk and CoMonk work with newer archetypes is the Scaled Fist. Both can take it, but the entry makes note of what abilities are replaced for either Monk as well as what level the new ability is gained.

UnBarb cannot take any archetype that messes with Rage since it no longer relies on STR & CON.

UnRogue and UnSum have no similar restrictions.

So, Unchained Knife Masters and Unchained Packragers are not only possible, but perfectly Pathfinder Society legal! (though Packrager requires a certain chronicle first)

...

The linguist has been translated in french in the translation platform ; Can you update the website please ? It doesn't show up translated when I export such a sheet.
Kingmaker as well please
