Eltariel puts the wand away, takes out her slender bow and lets fly.

Damage: 1d8 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3

Male Human Fighter 6 (Polearm Fighter)

Fredrich slowly spins his spear as he waits for the group to attack.

1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17 Attack of opportunity (If available)
1d12 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 Damage

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14 LH Attack

1d12 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 Damage

Note: As needed Fredrich will use spring attack, and short haft. Short haft will take -2 to the attack roll, but allows him to attack at adjacent range. He will attack reach creatures if possible.

Eltariel wings one of the Stirges.Aude stands ready .Layjianis first shot misses but her second shot brings a Strige down in flames and the splash causes damage to most of its flock mates.

Special Announcement

It is with sadness that I have to announce the closure of this game. The simple fact is that my other games are occupying a great deal of my time and I really can't see the point of continuing with a game in which only one player is being truely active.

I am sure that your characters will all eventually find places in other more interesting games.

Thanks for running the game Wellard, and I respect your decision...but it appears to me you had 4 active players, and one that had been active in the past, so I'm not sure that the last reason was accurate. Remember two of the PC's joined late, and really didn't have a chance to get involved with the story. Good luck on your other games. Fredrich will miss killing things.

Female Human (Dunael) Ranger/Rogue/Fighter 3/2/1 (Ra, Ro, Ra, Ro,Ra,Ft)

I respect your opinion Wellard and thank you most kindly for runing this (these) games. However I have to side with Fredrich in the confusion over your statement of having only one player. Layjiani is not much of a talker and is always fine to let Eltariel do the talking for her. Other than that, she let's her bow or skills do the talking for her, which, at least to my opinion, she has been doing as much as anyone. Aude's posts are usually brief but still (mostly) present and Elterial (of course) and Friendrich has been posting frequently as well.

Regardless though, it has been fun all! Thanks so much for allowing this group story to be as entertaing as it has been. : )

Female Human Cleric of Pharasma 6

Same as Layjiani , Aude does not speak that much

It is nonetheless your chance , my thanks for DMing us for so long

This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7

Aude doesn't speak much, Layjiani doesn't speak much, Kegmar and William aren't posting at all, and Fred's a fighter who hits things. None of these things alone is a bad thing on their own and it's not anyone's fault, but put them together and frankly, I feel like I'm the only person playing at times, and I don't really like playing solo. I've tried not posting to see if it's me being to much, but the result of this is no-one posts.

So that's why Wellard and I are finding the thread hard work. Apologies to you all, but we have other calls on our time and playing a game that has stopped being fun for us is not on my list of must-do's.

This is also not a scenario which promotes role playing that much.
No NPC we can interact with. I won't count the brigands since what they had to say to us was resolved in four posts.

For the moment , the choice was advance, combat, scratch our head and advance again .
That was also the case in the previous scenario even if it was less evident since we had pieces of the puzzle more often and could exchange opinions about them more often

Talking about Aude, there was also a lack of challenge in the fight.
Seeing how we surclassed the last encounters was a bit disappointing for me .

That being said, it is indeed better to stop there if you don't have fun anymore
