I'm an old hanger-on who first got his start in '83. After years away from the game in my twenties and early thirties, I've been drawn back to gaming by the quality of Paizo's Pathfinder line. I'd really just written myself off as a gamer and was just buying products for inspiration for my writing, but Pathfinder has changed that and I find myself looking for some mature gamers in the Philipsburg/ central PA area.
Are there any players out there looking for a GM? Or, even a group just looking to pick up another player? Please drop me a line if either of these describes your current situation. Thanks for reading.

I saw "Phillipsburg" and thought, Hey, here's a possibility ... but then the "PA" registered.
I'm in the Poconos, within 55 minutes of Phillipsburg ... NJ.
Oh, well. Best of luck putting together a game.
[I posted on the extremely odd chance you are near Easton. I once arranged a job interview with a manager who said he'd meet me in the lobby at the Phillipsburg Holiday Inn [or whatever generic hotel/motel chain]. I was there, on time, at the one in NJ, since it's the only one of which I'd ever heard. He'd of course meant the one in PA.
So much for that job.]

I stop in at Gatehouse about once every month/2 months to get fresh miniatures, but thats about it. For such a small area we are pretty lucky to have such a good games store.
Gatehouse isn't as good as Ye Olde Hobby Shop used to be, but it does have a nice selection of products.
I'm still looking for a group, either an established one or one we can put together. Please post here or drop me a note via PM if you're interested, folks.

I agree about the Ye Olde Hobby Shoppe. Especially when it used to be upstairs in the mall. When they opened their big warehouse-looking store, It was like they stopped caring about RPG's.

Don't give up, when my group started getting smaller, I found 3 guys locally to join my weekly game through this board, and 2 of them joined us. I also found some others in the general area, but not quite close enough to make a weekly drive.
In the meantime, I recommend getting into a play-by-post site or game to get your gaming fix.
