Advanced Player's Guide PDF doubled in size

The Advanced Player's Guide PDF (standard single file) has doubled in size from ~53MB to ~116MB since they released the lite format. I cannot see any differences in the file quality between the two differences. I'm thinking they messed something up in the rendering?

I think it has to do with the lite not using vector images or something. But the GMG and Bestiary-lite have both been updated to lower the file size. So I could assume the APG will have an update in the coming days.

The rest of the files that had issues have been corrected. We should have all the ducks in a row and email sent before the end of the day :)

Just out of curiosity, what was the issue that caused the bloat? (If only to avoid similar issues ourselves.)

It was a bit of a hiccup in the working process where we package up the PDFs into a single file (inherently, everything is broken up into pieces) and Acrobat had some odd settings that kept some extra metadata, duplicate images and stuff we just didn't want in the all-in-one file. We stripped out some of that bloat to get the file size down.

They're talking about Advanced Player's Guide PDFs. The Advanced Race Guide is still due in June.

The single file normal version of the PDF for the APG is still double size. Just a FYI, I just tired it and the GM book PDF regular single file one won't DL at all. Tired it 3 times and it just takes me to the paizo front page.

I'm able to download the Single File version of the GameMastery Guide from your account without incident. Are you still having difficulty?

Odd it works fine now. When I got the email I am just in the habit I go DL the books then even if the update isn't for me. Don't ask me why I do it. So I was just redoing them all and noticed so thought I would mention it. The rest DLed fine, but not that one. Now it works though sooo *shrug*
