Very basic new GM question(s)

Hey guys, This weekend I may be running a pathfinder game, or possibly two. I see that pathfinder games cost 3.99 to purchase. My questions are these:
Are the scenarios free to play for pathfinder society games, or do they cost for everyone?
What if I plan on running a game but it never happens. Do I still have to purchase the scenario before hand? I assume so, it just kinda sucks that I'd pay 4 bucks to run a game for some other folks and then not even run it.

What about if I ran the same scenario more than once, do I have to purchase it twice even though I have the original PDF?

What if my friend Bob wanted to run the scenario for a few of his friends, can he use my copy of the PDF, or does he have to purchase the scenario in order to be able to report it?

Er.. I think that's it for now.

Yes, the are free to play. The $3.99 is the cost to the GM so the writers and Paizo staff can eat. :)

After you buy the PDF it's yours. You can run it again as needed, or if you event falls through and has to be reschedule the PDF is still owned by you, so no issue.

Nope. You only have to by the mod once, you can run it as many times as you want after that.

In the best spirit of everything Bob should buy his own copy, and is never free to use your PDF copy. If you buy the PDF you are able to lend a physical copy for someone else to use, you are not permitted to give them a copy of the PDF.

If you were coordinating for a game day event at your FLGS and you bought all the mods you would own the digital PDF copies, but could give a printed physical copy to the GMs to run for their slots at the game day event. You should make every effort to retrieve the physical copies after the event is complete.

Hope that clears things up, and good luck with your game(s)!

EDIT: For clarity.

Thanks for the quick reply Zizazat, I wanted to make sure I was on the up and up with everything.

P.S. It's good for Paizo folks to eat, they can keep churning out goodies then :)

But it is perfectly legal for you to lend Bob a hard copy of the scenario.
