Goblins?

Can anyone tell me if Goblins are an allowable race from any of the resources found in the back of the PF Guide to Society? I know the additional races in the PF Bestiary aren't allowed but I am dieing to play a mad goblin alchemist for PF Society.

Also, I was told at GENCon that there should be more modules and other resources for goblins coming out soon? Anyone know anything about that?

Only the core races are legal for PFS play. So, no goblins.

And then only sadness remained. Ah well. TY Sir :)

While goblins are one of the monstrous races most evenly balanced with PC races, they don't really fit the flavor of the Pathfinder Society as an in-world organization. I can't actually think of a single non-core-race Pathfinder from a canon source, though I'm sure there are some over its long history.

No aasimar/tiefling 'finders makes me a sad panda, but I can live with that.

Goblins of Golarion should be published by about August of 2011, when/if it's Society legal remains to be seen. As Mark mentioned, they don't really seem to fit into the Society very well as potential Pathfinders.

Year of the Shadow Lodge:
Especially since they were butchered by the hundreds in the Year of the Shadow Lodge Event!

My feelings on this are two-fold.

1: I have to wait a YEAR!? NOOOOOOO!!!!!

2: I only have to wait a year? YES!!!

To be honest that stealth check is a bit much for a player race

I joined the thread with my hopes of playing a goblin. The pathfinder one's are adorable. I think I speak for the gaming community when I say the gaming world needs a plush pathfinder goblin.

Goblins are pests and should be treated as such. The only good goblin is a dead goblin. They are evil and malevolent.

I strongly oppose the addition of any race that a core race (gnomes & dwarves) have bonus to fight against.

If you want to play a goblin, take a gnome, put a goblin costume and scare the populace! Grrrr you're a gnome.

Well I strongly disagree with core races that aren't goblins.

Maybe somone could right a PAthfinder module for a party of goblins.

So no Elves? Dwarves now (per the APG) can take a favored class bonus against Elves.

Really I'm in agreement, I'd prefer no monstrous races, but I did have to pick that nit.
