Last we heard, it was being done in spare time by the programmer, but that was a year ago (as an alpha version was on Erik's phone last gencon) I'm not sure what else was up

The app you linked is good and I also use it, but I am really hoping for paizo's official app. The things they wanted to do sounded very cool. 4 members of my group have and use iPhones.

I would also like to know when this is coming out. I like the apps I've seen but an official one from Pathfinder will allow for things like the APG and other Paizo sources to be included. Like there's an amazing app for 7.99$ that is a spellbook with easy look up but is incomplete as it only has the Core rules. I'd love a character generator but, again, it would only be cool if Paizo made it as then you'd have access to all the feats out there. There is money in this and there are fans who you could outsource to on these forums. That guy who made the 5$ app seems like a pretty good start.

This thread makes me wonder what the browser breakdown on the Boards and on the PFRD section of the site are? I know I should be showing as both Mobile Safari and Safari 5.

I asked Gary that very question today and he said what app. Which meant there is currently no ETA.

Since we're not really in the making software business having an app made means there are other parties involved with their own schedules and agendas. Rest assured that when there is something to be announced that it will be announced. Until we make an announcement, though... well, I suspect you can see where this is going.

OK, months have passed - so when we gonna see those official Pathfinder iPhone apps?
I remember when iPhone apps were new...and denture cream, too!
one of the paizo staff. I forget whom said the app was in and done just waiting on the approval at apple. apparently there are two apps he didn't say whatvthey did.
I wouldn't mind a nice solid iPad application.
A couple months back they said the iPhone version was finished. They originally found a bug right before they released it so they pulled it back to fix it. I believe they fixed said bug and currently they have a completed app but they want to release the iPad version at the same time. So now we wait for the iPad version to be finished. Hopefully soon :)
Is there any official word of whether the app or apps will still some out? Or is this no longer something we can expect? Thanks for any updates!
