I was actually hoping this would be released but with how its going I've given up most hope, though if the minds behind Darwin's World mentioned above released it under pathfinder rule set again it would probably sell well to those who are fans of the genre. I still use the bestiary against my players to freak them out.

The bestiary for Darwin's World is phenomenal and filled with hidous mutated freaks.
Look, it wouldn't hurt to drop them a line - let the people at RPG Objects know that you want a Darwin's World-Pathfinder conversion. As far as PA gaming goes, these guys are it. Their mods and world/campaign material (which is prolific) is fantastic.
The only way we are going to get what we want as a game is
A) is if we make it ourselves or
B)convey to those who would make it what we want.
I'm not shilling for them and I have no relation to the company besides buying ALL their DW product to date. I buy quite a bit of PA material for my Gamma World game year round - Darwin's World made me dump my homebrew and run their system instead.
Drop Chris Davis a line - He's already playing around with a Pathfinder conversion for a mod at Gen Con. A full version, via kickstarter or him just putting it out as a project would be a great boon for the fans of the PA genre.

And in other news related to Adamant, Rick Hershey has left the Far West project. Gareth listed that it was for personal reasons. This will of course cause a delay with that project as they move to fill the art he hadn't finished yet. So I'm sure this will set WotA back as well since Far West seems to be the new hotness that must be done first.
I read that. Hopefully it wasn't related to this hardship.

No, quite the opposite...Black Isle simply ceased to exist.
I was talking more about my patience in waiting for a PA game that I enjoyed being translated to a new system, etc.
So, not quite so similar, but still....I wants me some WotA!
If you're looking for zombie-death time, check out Scrying Eye Games' "Welcome to Mortiston".
A recently successful Kickstarter project, its available now, and is pretty much and entire small town with timeline, maps, NPCs, and the like. Just perfect to run your latest Left 4 Dead tabletop or Resident Evil PnP game. Best part: it's not system specific, so you can use it with plenty of rulesets right out of the box.

If anyone is familiar with RPGObject's Darwin's World, then there's been an announcement that they're going to run an exclusive Pathfinder version at GenCon. For those of us who are really wanting a Post Apocalyptic campaign using PFRPG rules from a reliable setting that has been around for awhile, I suggest that if you have Facebook to head to their page where Killian spoke up here.
Darwin's World page on RPGObjects.
Darwin's World page on RPGNow. If this link takes you to the main page, just do a quick search and you'll find it.
This going forward would ultimately put me into position to demand my refund and write WOTA off as vaporware.

There's also Metamorphosis Alpha which is being redone by James Ward and Jamie Chambers which might be worth it if it sees print. Never played the original.

I still have my email confirmation I think though at this point I'm more in it just to see if it ever pays off and marking the money up to lesson learned.
In other news anyone else wondering about the Icons change over? I find it very interesting that it was pull and all involvement by Adamant was to stop immediately.

well -in regards to ICONS - I don't really know anything about the reasons behind the change-over. There's been a lot of speculation over on the ICONS messagesboards - but nothing more than that really.
I will observe that the thread for the pre-order for the ICONS product Team-up (over here http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?612670-ICONS-Team-Up-will-we-EVER-see-i t/page31) really seems to mirror the conversation you guys have been having here about Warlords.

Woot!
So, an email went out to some people? Who got it, and what does it tell us?
We got two emails actually. :)
On from Gareth and then one from Owen.
I don't want to spill any beans on whats in the works before Owen does, but basically the project is now in different hands and there is work going to be done to bring it to fruition.

...this has me very very interested. I had my eye on this one from the beggining but never pre-ordered because i wasnt sure about adamant itself pulling off something so large. But I have alot of respect for the work of super genius games and have been really interested to see what they had to offer in the modern type setting this product implies.
I look forward to the press release, and to learning more about what SGG's involvement would mean for the project as a whole.

As promised, here is the official press release, in a new thread for SGG's Warlord of the Apocalypse... since Adamant isn't involved anymore.
