Yeah, I'm going Wizard/Rogue, I'm going to specialize in everything out of combat. My background is going to be hedge magician so I'll do a lot of crafting if the price is right.
kk, a lot of in combat casting at all? or mainly just going to be a sneak attack kind of character?
I'll probably spend most of my time in combat augmenting allies. If I do end up being an illusionist, then I'll hinder/distract our enemies as well.
k so mainly buffing and battle field control is what i'm understanding (be a specialist wizard we need to try one of those).
ill maybe play a tank or a healer then. i might try a barbarian tank see how that works. just focus on so much life they can't put me down. either that or a fighter. idk though. Thoughts?
If you go for too much HP (like Igl), with a side of squishy, you'll put our healer in a state of panic, since he won't be able to keep up with you. If barbarians are given ample armor/dexterity, and a shield, they are suitable tanks.
il go fighter then. if i play a barbarian i want a two-handed sword XD

Lol; so, we got dual-wielding mercenary and an arcane trickster to start with.
i got 19 AC XD and ya seems somewhat solid with you buffing and me tanking/damage. Now all we need is a healer
BTW! good move i think with a rogue. just the idea of a chaotic gambling/crime city seems like we're going to need someone to deal with traps
You know you can use the profile part of the character page to get your stats and background down on the site? works really well TBH

if you click on your own picture it'll take you to your page. click on the profile tab and and click create profile. the rest is self-explanatory

so instead of a wizard/rogue you wanna go witch/rogue? i doubt he'll have a problem with that. I was just teasing about the classes from the core book only. I believe we can be any class but he's working right now so i can't know for sure.
What I was thinking about doesn't really follow the rules for how Witches get their power either, I would be an exception also, since I would be robbing spells from the entity I would normally hold a pact with.
I would talk to him to make sure, but i doubt he'll care to much
Who knows, it might actually fit in with the game.
Seeing as how this is a drow campaign, it might be fun t go shadow or trickery for your patron? just an idea

Trickery patron for sure, and yes I've got my eye on arcane trickster. Normally you would have to be a Wizard rather than a Witch (due to mage hand) to obtain that PrC, but I'm gonna go with the Minor Magic rouge talent so that I'm eligible.

What campaigns that we have going do you think would work well for PbP?
any and all of them honestly. Some things might be hard to tack but i doubt it, being everything gets written down on the forum. what were you thinking about running?

In order to save space in the gameplay thread, i'll wait till my second post too give a physical description of Kazalin.
Also i plan to change his backstory a bit. Instead of being out of merc work, he is tired of it and wants a more stable job but by this time he has made a name for himself (in riddleport and the surrounding area) as a mercenary
