Hi guys. For my upcoming 3rd year project I figured i'd try and do something i'd enjoy, so I decided to attempt to build some kind of website designed specifically for PbP and various tools to help run games over the internet. I need to have a functional website and a back-end database has to be used somehow.
As a player, what would you like to see on this website, and if you have any technical experience how would you go about implementing it?
I am ok with HTML but my Java-Fu, my PHP-Fu, and my Database-Fu suck.
I'm still contemplating what I might do, so add in as many suggestions as you like. Help me out y'all!

Hey, Alex! That's a really good idea. I'm sure you know most of what you'd like to have on the site, you're a smart fellow and I'm sure you'll do well with it.
I'm a SQL guy myself (albeit still learning, I'm sure there are plenty of other gujys who know it better), and using PHP I did manage to get a forum up for my Guild Wars clan when I played it, which was about three years ago at this point. For a forum-style thing, I'd love to see people be able to post images, so that you can see maps in-game, and custom avatars. I have some ideas about how that could work, if you're interested, drop me a line.
