100 Angry Peasants

Just going through an early D&D edition when I got this:

ANGRY VILLAGER RULE
Anyone who has viewed a horror movie is aware of how dangerous angry villagers are. Whenever the referee finds that some player has committed an unforgiveable outrage this rule can be invoked to harass the offender into line. Within the realm of angry villagers are thieves from the "thieves' quarter", city watches and militia, etc. Also possible is the insertion of some character like Conan to bring matters into line.

1. Gema the Woodcarrier: Quick with a hard word and a wooden club. Has little tolerance for men behaving badly.

Leroy's Mamma: She Leroy's momma!

3. Wat Falhurst A skinny, red-haired fellow with a foul temper. He constantly complains about being hungry.

Norm Halwoller: Pig farmer with a nasty pet pig named Tusk.

5. Kenny the Tanner. He's being tanning for too long and those sunburns are making him quick to punch.
