Go ahead and level up to Level 3. The rest of the party will still be level 2, but if the encounter goes south, they'll need the healing. (they will be leveling up soon.

You'll need to take heavy armor proficiency for full plate...
I am assuming that you'll let the travel domain +10 and the dwarf speed not be effected by armor!
Expect to be moving at 30 all the time and faster with longstrider in play....
If that works I will make the second feat heavy armor! and go ahead and upgrade!
I have an idea how to bring your character into the fold of trust, confront Marra as one of Lamm's lambs, Lamm wronged you at one point, then she can let you know that he's dead.

It's not the speed that's affected, it's your abilities.
From PFSRD:
"A character who is wearing armor with which he is not proficient applies its armor check penalty to attack rolls and to all skill checks that involve moving." Which is HUGE for full plate.
Upgraded to full plate and Mwk weapons (2)
Added heavy armor prof.
