So .. now that I've been tantalized by three pages of the Walrus and the Warwolf as a PDF, I figured I'd ask again
*grin*
What's the scoop on electronic versions of Planet Stories? Is that one of those "never gonna happen due to licensing" things, or is it something that's still in the works?
It's very much still in the works, for both Planet Stories and Pathfinder Tales. We're partially just waiting to see how all the iPad/Kindle stuff works out, as right now there are a lot of contract issues that mean we have to tread carefully in order to ensure the widest availability/compatibility. But we're working on it!

While this pertains to all the fiction (not just Planet Stories) I would love to see Paizo do something similar to what Micheal McCollum did with his Gibraltar Series. He sells all the eBooks through his site directly in all the assorted formats for the different readers.

Any update on this? I'm only buying ebooks for the most part nowadays, and there are several Planet Stories books I'd like to snag for the Kindle app, should they become available.
Umm... I'm not sure what James was thinking when he posted last year, but we don't have the rights to sell any of our Planet Stories novels in any form other than print.

At the time, I was under the impression we were looking in to acquiring electronic PS rights, but Vic's right--if you want Planet Stories, please buy the hardcopies, as digital ones aren't on our radar these days.
Pathfinder Tales, on the other hand, are already available as ePubs and PDFs, and we're still looking into other making other formats (i.e. Kindle) go. Stay tuned!
