I've posted about this a couple times before, but a good many updates have been made. So, here's the latest incarnation..
I've been using Google Site Builder for some time now, mainly to make sites for my various play-by-post and home campaigns. I've made my site template available for any of you who would like to give it a go. Google has done a great job of making a powerful yet simple website building tool; and better yet, it's free.

If you have a Google ID and you are logged in, you should be able to click a button at the top right of that page to create your own site from the template. Whether you have an ID or not, you can look through the template to see what you think.
The page works equally well for play-by-post or face-to-face campaigns, and I hope you'll find that it contains some useful features no matter what you do.
The template conforms to Paizo's Community Use policies and is a registered project

EDIT: Is there a way to roll dice in a forum post? The dice-roller only seems to go to email.

Thanks! And no way that I know of to do like on the Pathfinder forums here with custom BBCode... You could do one of two things though:
1. Email the dice result to yourself and post the verification code it sends. Then anyone who wants to check up on it can paste that code into the Verify A Roll section of the dice roller page.
2. Use an iFrame (like on the Pathfinder Forums page of the template) to embed a thread here on the forums that does allow for inline dice rolls.
And as an aside, the font used for the headers is Dark11, available free from Dafont.com at http://www.dafont.com/dark11.font if anyone needs it.

It allows me to include all of the various handouts direct in line, as well as have my players respond with clarifications or thoughts on how things went during the evening. I also use the yes-no-maybe widget to help with confirming attendance for the next session. I know that Google claims that you can drop a Wave into varous other sites, so I may try to use your template at some point to make a prettier-looking front end, along with links to player characters and such.

Wave has just been so buggy for me. I REALLY wanted it to be awesome right off the bat. I had been geeking out over it since the unveiling at Google I/O 2009. It's just too painful to use right now for me. Definitely holding out hope though.. it is the ideal app for collaborative online gaming. Thanks!

Although, that may not work.. wouldn't each character sheet need to be shared with the people in a given group?
After playing around with it for a while, thinking maybe I'll work up a "Welcome Guide" or something and have it as a page in the template. Could have suggestions like a link to this char sheet, some how-to for the most common things, and just general tips and tricks.

On that same thread there are other icon packages as well, such as the iconic characters, holy symbols, and more.
I realized that there was some funky stuff going on with the embedded forum pages on the site and fixed that. By default they now show:

Wow, I just found this thread, or I would have praised not-drizzt's work a looong time ago. Our campaign site uses the template and it is the best thing since sliced bread. Anyone running a pfrpg game with an online component should look at the template. It will save you a TON of work and take your online offering to the next level.

I love the template too, the only thing that can make this better is some form of google-app that let's you upload a battlemap, overlay a grid, and move character tokens around on it.

We tried a bunch of different map things, one of which I can't remember the name of now used a Google Maps api but was kind of in beta and pretty tough to actually use. Not sure if it ever got any better, but may have to look into that.
Google sites does support image maps, so I've created maps/tokens in photoshop and imageready for games I've DM'd and just updated them manually and uploaded the images. Not interactive, but it does get the job done.

The charsheet is actually made within the google page; just a lot of patience with tables and manually fiddling with the generated html just a little bit.
(I hope the bbcodes don't mess this up.) The page should be in 3 column mode, then use this html for the columns. Note that this version assumes a link to a portrait to exist, you may want to remove that bit :)

Hey. Just as a side note, do you have the full spell descriptions available through the template? Just something that would be nice to have. How difficult would it be to add in the materials from the Advanced Player's Guide? I don't know much about coding, or I'd code it for you and pass it on. I do plan on shifting my PBPs to this template, though. Thanks for making it available.

Getting some good feedback on the character sheet page. I did make one quick change, and in the skills section of the character sheet (far right panel) I made the skills that cannot be used untrained a little darker color for quick reference. I think before the darker color represented the class skills for whichever character it was I copied the sheet from.
Updated it with a few more changes. I definitely think the character sheet pages are here to stay... thanks LoreKeeper!
Some slight efficiency changes, with hosted images replacing uploaded ones to conserve site storage space.

Got an official answer from Paizo regarding the Pathfinder logo included in the Community Use Package. Was able to remove the white background for the logo at the top left of the template pages and stay within the policy. Looks much better now! Thanks Vic Wertz for getting back to me on that.
