Greetings erks! This is the English - Goblin Dictionary for those adventurers seeking to Speak Goblin in the appropriate Dialect.

If you have a goblin Phrase or Word, feel free to include it and its Translation.

Let us begin with words and phrases starting with A. Feel free to contribute.

GOBLIN - ENGLISH USAGE
A
Ah'H'Erk! - Please stop crushing my throat!
Ah'K'Hu! - My Dogskin! Mine!

You will notice here that Ah' is a phonetic component refering to self. WHen refering to another, the sequence changes so the reference is last in the phrase. K'Hu'Thu is - His Dogskin, Return! It also means - Spare his worthless skin - but only in the appropriate useage.

I'm not up on black speech? Still far more interested in one we can create for Use in our own Gaming and Stories. Consider it an intellectual Property issue. we are smarter than any one else who has ever played the game. We can do better.

Smarter I doubt that. The smartest people are the ones humble enough to know they really do not know all that much and can listen to and build upon what others have started.

Black Speech - Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkien professor of linguistics.

GOBLIN - ENGLISH USAGE
Ah'C'Ph - I will break you!

Akt'o
The dog was tastier than its owner, although not quite as tender

What nothing else?

I guess we move on to the B's...

B
Bc'C'Vork - I am in charge!*
*Reversed it is Vork'C'Bc - You have a big Mouth!
Bc'K'Do - You may shelter in my Yurt.
Bc'K'Du - My Cave this is!

Good start would be use names of famous goblin heroes and gods. And rip them into pieces. Also, I don't think it would be wrong using words, wich resembles known words, can be loans or lucky coinsidense.

Hadregash (chief of gods) - ?
had - ?
reg - main chieftain
gash - breath?
ash - ?
Venkelvore (divine consort) - (Woman of divine appetite)
Ve- (Fe-) - female
enkel - angel, divine
vor - eat, appetite, hunger
e - feminine ending
Zarongel (the hunter) - ?
Zar - ?
on - ?
twist form of enkel?
Zogmugot (trickster) - (The one playing dirty of us)
Zot - That, the one, there
ogm - ?
mug - hitting from back?
got - ?

With words already created, there is one nice relation
vor - eat, hunger
vork - the one eating first or most: boss, mouthy
_______

Ps. This sounds awesome
