Order # 1381601 damaged (again...)

Customer Service

Sadly, my latest order once again did not arrive unharmed - the books have their corners damaged although the packaging was unharmed. Kingmaker # 1 has severely dinged corners, the NPC guide even has a break in the spine where the pages show through. I would like to have a replacement for both books.
The green foam chips do nothing to protect the corners of the books in the package, which is too big for the books contained, so the books slide around inside - and handling is sometimes not too gentle. If you could use a packaging method that specifically protects the book corners, shipping damage will probably be reduced significantly. I have no idea if this is economically feasible, however.

Changing packing methods is not currently feasible at this time. We ship out a lot of orders and the vast majority arrive at their destination in mint condition. If damaged products continue to be an issue, we often suggest if possible, changing the shipping method or shipping address. Changing either usually seems to resolve shipping issues.

oh, almost forgot, I've set up replacements for the NPC guide and Kingmaker 1: volume #31. They will ship out with your next subscription.

Thanks for your answers, and the replacements. I will look into the possibility of changing shipping and/or address, but I suspect that I will just have to live with damaged books now and then - overseas shipping has a greater chance of damage occurring, naturally.

I would just like to add that my latest order from Paizo also had bend corners. Not that it requires replacements but just mention my concern of the present shipping packages (sturdy white envelopes)...
