I got the campaign guide as well as the core book as a player. Is there a gunslinger/rifleman type class out there?
If so can one prestige arcane archer into that and add spell effects to the bullets?
Not to be Anime-ish but was thinking somethoing along the lines of Outlaw Star
There isn't anything official yet (and unlikely to be much any time soon as Alkenstar is not the most popular area of Golarion for future developmentin the Paizo offices), but Wayfinder 2 has a Gunslinger prestige class that might interest you.

And there is a Gunmarshal mentioned on the blog

There certainly is a gunslinger class. It's just called Fighter, that's what the Gun-marshal on the blog is after all. Fighter 4.
Firearms are just ranged attack weapons so I suppose Ranger works well for it too. You just need the exotic weapon proficiency and maybe one or two other feats and your golden.

And a LOT of moeny to afford the gun in the first place. There's also an article on gun magic in Kobold Quarterly 7. It's for 3.5 but it should convert fairly painlessly

Oh WOW!!! I have the PDF, but I never read it all the way through. That's kinda neat because a new campaign world I am building is based on a high fantasy three musketeers type game, and i was gonna use firearms. Looks like they already did the work for me! Gods bless you Paizo, yet again.
If you are going to put your game in that setting make sure to drop the prices of firearms dramatically. You should probably also make them simple weapons. THe whole reason firearms became dominant was because they were cheap to produce and easy to train with (as opposed to bows or crossbows.

KQ #13 has a gunpowder base class: the arquebusier. He crafts his own bullets which gives him the ability to bypass DR, he can make called shots to deal extra damage, and he gains iterative attacks with firearms (albeit at a slower rate than archers).

Having read it with anticipation (looking for this kind of class for one of my players) I have to say the Arquebusier left me disappointed. Seemed very weak for a 20 level class; i'd rather make a Fighter that uses firearms.
