Hey Karui Kage, I noticed that you do not have much of anything from the Modules listed (specificaly looking through the magic items), would you like some help with that?

Also, is it legal to include stuff from the Pathfinder proto-canon as well. That being the seven mini-adventures from Complete Encounters.

Scarab Sages

Storylines and such are not legal for me to have up. I also have pretty set guidelines on what I want my site to include.

1. Material from the "Pathfinder" line, "Pathfinder Companion" line, and "Pathfinder Chronicles" line that was released on or after the release of "Pathfinder #1".
2. Material from 3.5 is updated to PRPG with as few changes as possible.
3. Only 'mechanics' type information is added, including Feats, Spells, Traits, Equipment, Prestige Classes, and 'additional rules' (eg: custom summon lists, alternate class features, etc.)

I might add stuff from the "Pathfinder RPG" line as more crunch comes out, depending on if it gets added to Paizo's own site or not.

The Modules I did wonder if I was missing anything from, but I spend enough on the four lines I subscribe to as it is, and running Adventure Paths all the time means I never have time for normal modules. If people wanted to send me the 'crunchy' bits from the Modules along with sources (and without changing anything, if it needs to be updated then I'll take care of that myself) then I'd be happy to add it up on the site. :)

It's on p. 14 of the Taldor book.

Thank you very much !!

Finally got around to adding Firearms to the Gear-Weapons page. The Gear area should now be officially up to date. ^_^

Back to prestige classes I go!

Sounds great, as I get time I'll pull stuff from the modules and email it to your Archives of Nethys email.

Then that just leaves the question of what a "close weapon" is for the light blade combat scabbard :D. I asked that question in the thread for him to answer already though.

I dont have access to the book, but based on Karui's site it seems pretty clear... not sure what the confusion is, exactly. If a fighter chose for his Weapon Training the "Close" weapon group, it counts as that category, so he gets bonuses with it. Am I missing something?

Yup the question is what is the damage for a combat sheath that isn't bladed... if you check the armory thread and this one a bit further on it wasn't answered either.

Personally, I'm not sure the non-bladed combat scabbard was meant to be used as a weapon. The bit about Weapon Training is kind of misleading, but it does reference the Equipment Tricks when mentioning it. My guess is that, when using an equipment trick with said combat scabbard, you can get a bonus to that trick based off of your Weapon Training (if you have Close or whatever). For example, you can use the combat scabbard to trip or bull rush someone, so you'd get your weapon training bonus to the attack roll for that.

And if you want a combat scabbard to do tricks with *and* attack someone normally, you get the bladed version.

At least that's my guess. It is a bit confusing.

This is a major problem with that theory:

Hurl Scabbard (Quick Draw): You can draw your weapon in such a way that you send your combat scabbard (see page 3) whirling off to strike at any creature in sight. This ranged attack is a swift action and is treated as a thrown weapon.

Ok so treated as a thrown weapon -- that's great which one? Plus the specifically statted out the "bladed" combat sheath which (as was mentioned earlier) makes the easy suggestion that the none bladed combat sheath should be useful as a weapon as well.

There is also the whole problem that the combat scabbard tricks only work with a heavy blade combat sheath too. What's more why even have the sheath be a "combat" sheath if it has no application in combat, especially when you list three different types of combat sheaths with only one of them having damage listings.

All in all I think the combat sheath idea is about a 7/10 on the neat idea meter with about a 2/10 on the implementation meter.

The proto-Golarion GameMastery Encounters are OGL, and are listed in section 1 of the Community Use Approved Products List, so they may be treated just like any of the other products on that list.

Oh, awesome then! I didn't know the book/material he was talking about. Still not sure if that material would be something to have on my site though, I've been keeping it pretty mechanics themed. Possibly if I have time after getting caught up with everything else. :D

Yeah—there may only be one or two little things in each that you'd want for your site. You get a bunch of maps and a micro-adventure, and a few stat blocks, including an occasional monster or item. And they're all 3.5.

Scarab Sages

You should start a website Blake, make a compilation of all the Pathfinder Traits so your friends can find them easier.

You know Blake, you should put all the Feats up there too, no one ever seems to use those in your games.

While you're at it Blake, why not put the spells up there? There's so many of those out there and no one seems to use them.

Don't worry Blake, you're almost done with all of the stuff. You had a lot of material in the Pathfinder issues, the Chronicles, and the Companions, but you're almost there!

Oh hey Blake, having the gear in one spot could be fun too. Why don't you start over and do the gear now. Thanks!

Before you get done, maybe you should add on the prestige classes too.

You're almost done!

Oh wait Modules and Encounters have more materia--- *Blake explodes*

Spoiler:
For serious though, I love working on the site. I just keep telling myself it's almost done while simultaneously trying to hide all the work that's left until I think I'm caught up. :D

Monsters I won't be adding to my site, and I should have *most* of the magic items. I have a friend with almost every Module that is going to let me borrow soon so I should be able to wrap up my magic items too, since that's the only line I'm missing from.

Thanks though! :)

The funny thing is, I even remember seeing a lot of references to Elves of Golarion with a strange 'T' stuck in front, and I wondered how that got there and did another find and replace to remove them. Now I know.

Those will be the Telves, a little-known subrace.

Scarab Sages

Phew, well I finally got done with the majority of my catch-up. All prestige classes are now in the Archives. 3.5 ones were updated to Pathfinder, though they didn't require a lot of change (mostly save progressions and skill name changes).

With that, I am finished with the majority of my catch-up. The last bit will be miscellaneous rules. Stuff like alternate class features or summon lists (from different religions), and anything else I think would fit.

Enjoy!

Edit: Oh, and mechanics from the Modules will be added in later on as well! :)

The Archives of Nethys has moved to a .com! Come visit us at www.archivesofnethys.com.

With the new location comes a host of new updates. All the material from Pathfinder #33, Gnomes of Golarion, and the Faction Guide have been added to the Archives. Lastly, the Feats section has been revised a bit, removing the Source column from the main table and inserting the Source into each individual feat (similar to how the rest of the site presents sources).

Enjoy!

A wonderful site!

+1

It is great work!
