So any plans to make Dice for the Kingmaker AP?

And what colors would be used?

purple, color of kings.. plus maybe gold?

spire = 1
crossed spire and hook = 2
crown with 3 tops = 3
..

i wonder if such a system might be expanded..

This reminds me of Dragon Dice.. I was sad to see it go..

I was thinking the colours should be similar to the colours they use for the cover of the AP.

I like the Idea of using Royal Purple and Gold for the dice.

And the 3 pointed crown for the high number is in line with what I was thinking.

Osirion

Agreed. Royal purple w/gold lettering. Royal blue perhaps as well.

And the crown for the high number is kinda a given, I think. I'd definitely buy them.

Taldor

I should like a set of Kingmaker dice too - any news please?

Also I notice only Taldans are here - clearly our crown motif is an indication of our rights to be Kings and to reclaim an area of the glorious Empire.

Andoran

Phaw, washed up outmoded nobility...reclaim this!

(In other news, purple dice with gold lettering would be marvelous :D)

I would so buy these to use as my official DM dice for KM.

And my vote is green and purple. I know it sounds weird but I did mock-up on Paint and the colors do well together and the Km scheme seems to be green and then purple. (?) That and purple/gold remind me of Mage.

Well, there is already purple with silver numbering, so purple with gold might not be the most likely choice.

And given we are still waiting for the Legacy of Fire set, and there is still Council of Thieves after that (if the AP order is kept)...

Green and purple is for Batman villains. Mage was all about shaping your own destiny and working your will upon reality, so it fits just fine thematically with Kingmaker. (The Ascension War is SO not over... ;) )

I might buy them, too, depending on the price. Can never have too many dice.

I'm a fan of green but I think Royal blue with silver would be very Kingly.

What ever the case I'd still buy a set.

At Gen Con, Q-Workshop said they hoped to have Council of Thieves and Kingmaker out by the end of the year but I'm not holding my breath. I've run 3 APs now and each time the dice released 1-2 months after finishing.

Q-Workshop's forest dice might serve well as campaign dice. The green dice are gorgeous and will be my primary dice for the campaign when I start in two days.

Mandor: Those are gorgeous. I wonder why Paizo's not carrying them?

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Too new, maybe?

Q-workshop didn't have them at their booth until Friday morning of Gen Con. I was told they had been flown in.

Looking at other online retailers, I don't see anyone else with the forest dice. My guess is their main stock for distributors is taking the sea route and may or may not have been shipped yet.

I don't really like the Forest dice, too busy and hard to read.

The "purple" of the Second Darkness set looks more blue to me.

Maybe a purple closer to a Vivid Violet, with silver.

Contributor

I'd say blue and gold would be the most appropriate: blue for the river, gold for kingship.

It makes a pretty combo and wouldn't be confused with Mage dice or Second Darkness dice.

Q-workshop dice are beautiful (note: beautiful =/= readable), but their production speed is only slightly faster than Nick Logue's.

My primary dice are the Earth Dawn set by Q Workshop, which I prefer over any of the AP sets released so far.

KM is the first AP I've run, so it will always have a special place in this GM's heart!

My vote, if anyone is counting, is Royal (British Racing) Green as the base color to match the books and the Stolen Lands setting. Either gold or silver would work for the detail.

Can I get a d6 with some pips on it?
It just isn't right throwing a square w/ numbers on it...
