PaizoCon mini swap?

Is anyone interested in swapping minis at Paizocon?

I have a good number of minis, painted an unpainted that I would love to trade or sell. Lots of unpainted minis which I bought 'in-bulk' and only wanted half of the lot or similar things.

Maybe we could have an hour set aside in the evening somewhere?

Silver Crusade

sounds good. I have a lot of unpainted ones as well.

When we get closer to the event maybe we can post a list of "Have" and "Want"

I'd be up for that! :)

Will be travelling in from an internship, so I won't have my minis in hand. But I might be up for buying some of your overstock.

Oooh, a fleamarket??

That would be a good idea for Paizo to encourage at the con!

Shadow Lodge

I'm not sure this will be encouraged by Paizo so much as allowed... though if Sean shows up that's a bit of encouragement right there :)

When the schedule comes out I'll try and make a few windows where we can meet up in one of the open gaming rooms. Maybe after Sean's mini crafting event? Plus a few other times.

After the minis workshop sounds like an excellent idea.

We probably can arrange to have other times posted at the hotel, or in the program book, just in case people can't make it to a particular meetup.

It would be awesome if it were posted. I was planning on just posting it here.

Just a little bump and ...

Grr, they scheduled the mini workshops right over my PFS game I volunteered to GM.

I'm up for swapping or even giving a few away. I have a lot of unpainted minis to get rid of.

I can't make the mini sessions or the time after but Char is going to try and hit them and she can bring my minis. Lots of unpainted/ painted/ pre-painted... Maybe just plan on meeting up between the afternoon and evening sessions.

How about Sunday night? I don't bail until Monday. Would depend on who all can make a late date in the lounge at the hotel.

Sunday evening after things go dark would be great for me. I'm not sure about a lot of other people though. We aren't leaving until Monday evening.

I'm definitely up for this. I've been packing to move (about three blocks) lately, and I am absolutely gobsmacked by how many miniatures I have. I'd love to bring some tradable minis to the show and see what we might be able to swap!

I call first dibs on Erik's minis. :p

BTW if the plan is still to do this after the minis events, the Assembling and Customizing workshop is Friday 6pm-7pm and the painting worshop is 7pm-8pm.

Shadow Lodge

Before your first mini session would likely be better because that's during a break between events. After the mini session is during a lot of game sessions and some folks would be able to make it.

Unfortunately I'm scheduled to run PFS from Noon until 11PM on Friday so personally all afternoon and Friday doesn't work. I'll talk to Char and see if she can bring my minis and maybe I could sneak out for a bit of a break (11 hours is a LONG PFS session) and check them out.

We could just plan on doing it both Friday and Saturday during the 5-6PM break. Likely not everyone could make both days but some people could.

Russ already said he's game for in the lobby after the con also which works for me.

Lobby after the con works great for me too. In fact, I think I'd prefer it as I imagine my time will be at a premium during the show itself.

But I will make time for it one way or the other provided it does not conflict with anything I'm already scheduled for.

We're staying in Seattle until late Monday so after the con is over is perfect for me.

arrggh wish these were split up a little more. Minis is my second priority for this, but alas conflicts with the Beastiary Bash :) So a swap-shop sounds good to me!

If you can stick around after the con for a bit a few of us will be there. I'll try and show up for a bit before Sean's demo but I'm supposed to be running a game during that slot so unless we're running ahead of schedule it will be a short break.

I wasn't upset I couldn't attend the con until now. A mini swap is really something I'd like to do someday (tons of unpainted and doubles from all kinds of brands).

Fact I'm from BELGIUM doesn't help getting to the con I guess. If anyone from Belgium would like to get togehter for a swap someday, let me know! :-)
