I have a similar experience with planes to flash. I usually spend the flight puking, and then later end up with nasty ear infections. I only get on a plane if I really, really have to.

It's okay. After yesterday's nosebleeds today it's not too bad.
And the kidlet is being very sweet and cheerful today, which is wonderful. :)

I just found out that my roommate of eight years (when I was single) died last friday. Obit. This really sucks.Wow. Really sorry, Moff.
I posted and ran last night. Sorry about that. Thank you all for your good thoughts. Back in the day, we did a lot with youth groups. I learned a lot from him. He was one of the few people in my life that encouraged me to think for myself regarding religion and to question things that came from the pulpit (among other sources). We kept in loose touch recently -- didn't have as much in common -- but he was in pretty rough shape last time I saw him. I'm not entirely sure what he actually died from, but based on what I saw a few years ago, it was probably a good thing in the long run. He was pretty much always in tremendous pain. It still sucks that he's gone, but I'm glad that I knew him.
And just for the record, people around me need to stop dying. This is the second one this year. Two people who have died well before their time. I expected my grandparents to die this year. Not people who are close to my age.

And you were right about airfare to MB it would only cost about $430 to travel in October. Hmmmmm, just subtract 400 from that amount and that would leave me having to pine for 30-some dollars for airfare, gotta love travel vouchers ;)
