Irritated WIth Pathfinderization of feats- Feat Fix

Homebrew and House Rules

Okay, with feats like arcane strike, arcane armor training, and a list of other feats I would like to add my own little idea of creations to the mix.

Practiced Feat

Requirement: Feat that uses a swift or immediate action, base attack bonus +2

Benefit: With one chosen feat that they currently have, that uses a swift or immediate action, they may now use as a free action. This feat though can only be used once in a round. This does eliminate further use of the feat even as a swift or immediate action, but does not prohibit its use with its original action type.

Example: If the feat could be used as in immediate action, they could still use it as such, such as when performing an attack of opportunity. They would not be able to use it as a free action that round when their turn comes up later, but after their turn they may still use it as a free or immediate action.

I was thinking about making something like this for class abilities, but I don't know how borken that would be.

That became an issue in 3.0 on that much better feats were published monthly in Dragon and new sourcebooks...

Many people elected those feats and you would rarely see a feat from the core rules.

I think it is best to let the PCs find the feats they want 3.0/3.5 or otherwise and approve them on a case-by-case basis.

That feat does not look broken. I look forward to the improved dodge feat, prerequisite dodge....

No real fix for it with 1000's of feats "out there" for PCs to choose from....
