Looking for Osirion mod [No Spoilers, please!]

Scarab Sages

I'm a player, looking for a little help for my GM. I am very fond of Osirion, and am playing an Osirion fighter that I plan on making into a Living Monolith (the prestige class). Two of the prerequisites are RP requirements that are essentially hand-waved for PS play, but I would like to have them in my character's history nonetheless.

What I am looking for is the name of a mod to give to my GM, so that I might meet either a) another Living Monolith, or b) a sphinx, or c) the mod is set in Osirion. Does anyone know of a mod that has one of these in it? (No spoilers here, please.) I would just like to be able to say that my character did things the "old fashioned way" and learned the language of the Sphinx from an "authentic" source.

Thanks for the help in defining my character in the setting. :)

There are no scenarios I can think of that include a sphinx or a living monolith. At least not through #42. The only scenarios to date to take place in Osirion are #11: The Third Riddle, and #32: Drow of the Darklands Pyramid. If you're playing an unofficial campaign, and can mix and match PFS scenarios with modules, then I suggest your GM look at J1: Entombed with the Pharaohs and J4: The Pact Stone Pyramid. Both take place in Osirion, but I don't know if they present the specific challenges you're looking for.

Oooohhh... another possible option would be the fourth part of Legacy of Fire; "The End of Eternity" or was it Edge of Eternity?

Anyway... I mention that solely due to the fact in that AP you could interact with a sphinx. (But it has nothing to do with Osirion.) Yoda's suggestions for modules J1: Entombed with the Pharaohs, or J4: The Pact Stone Pyramid are both really good, as they both happen in Osirion. (But no mention of Living Monoliths in either case.) And that is a cool PrC.

Trouble with Secrets is set inthe Pathfinder Society Lodge in Sothis, the capital of Osirion.

I think the previous posters have covered it, but here are the scenarios that touch Osirion:

#11: The Third Riddle
#18: The Trouble with Secrets
#32: Drow of the Darklands Pyramid
#36: Echoes of the Everwar, Part I: The Prisoner of Skull Hill (this scenario *starts* in Osirion)
#42: Echoes, Part II: starts in Osirion
#44: Echoes, Part III: starts in Osirion
#53: Echoes, Part IV: takes place in Osirion

If you'd attended PaizoCon last year, the Osirion special mission during the Interactive would have given you the chance to encounter a sphinx. ;)

Lantern Lodge 4/5

If your GM is willing to bend the rules and work with you on this, there are a few other scenarios that involve desert travel that could be re-worked or assumed to take place in Osirion instead of their actual locations with very little effort. The two that come to mind are:

03 Murder on the Silken Caravan
15 The Asmodeus Mirage

Osiriani and Ancient Osiriani pop up in scenarios from time-to-time, if you just needed access to the language or writings to qualify for some language pre-req.

And the chance to be an upstanding member of the Risen Guard, though I think that title was rescinded when characters converted to PFRPG.

Wow ... look at that! You guys are great!
I went a few days without checking the forum, and look what pops up! Thanks for all of the help and advice ... I am certain that I can get my Storyteller to run some of these, and give me plenty of opportunity to get into the background of my chosen region.

... and what's better than a response from Eric Mona! And Josh Frost has answered three posts for me now on various threads!!

Thank you, one and all, for helping me find the opportunity to do some really wonderful RPing.
