Falling makes a good drinking card game. If you are the first person to hit the ground you do a shot, but you get to deal the next round, which prevents you from ever having to do 2 shots in a row. If you want to make it more complex you can tally points for first place, and for every two to three points (depending on what you agree on) you accumulate, you can spend those points to prevent from having to drink for that a round if you lose.
