One of my PCs in RotRLs has had a Wayfinder for some time and just now got ahold of an ioun stone (the dex one). When you place an ioun stone in a wayfinder it is supposed to display some additional power.....but I can't see where it would describe the additional power. Anyone know of anywhere that this info is or maybe toss out some ideas as to what powers I could give it?
Thanks.

I think Y8MH is trying to tell you that giving away Paizo's intellectual property for free would be wrong.
That said, I had to deal with this exact issue before Seekers of Secrets came out, and the power I gave the player's Wayfinder/Ioun combo was this.
Once per day, when he would struck by the bolts of force created by magic missle, the bearer of this Wayfinder combo can make a DC 20 Will save. If successful, each of the bolts can then be redirected to valid targets within the range of the original caster.
It's your game. Give it some small power that has significance in your game.

Let's try this again....
One of my PCs in RotRLs has had a Wayfinder for some time and just now got ahold of an ioun stone (the dex one). When you place an ioun stone in a wayfinder it is supposed to display some additional power.....but I don't own and can't afford the book where it would describe the additional power. Anyone want to toss out some ideas as to what powers I could give it?
If you just want to tell me to do whatever I want or tell me how I can do a bunch of stuff and then not give any ideas, please refrain from posting.
Thanks.
And OamutheMonk, nice idea with the magic missile thing.

A deep red ioun stone provides Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat when placed in a wayfinder. That's using the set method of determining bonuses. There's also a random table. Game content from SoS is OGL, so it's not that I didn't want to help out, but rather that I wasn't sure if you had the book or not. If this is an element of the game you're interested in, I can't recommend it enough, as it's got tons of info on ioun stones, including additional types, rules for cracked and flawed versions of all types, two methods of determining resonant powers, and implanting ioun stones into the body.

Is it typical that they provide some sort of feat as a bonus?
Some do, while others provide bonuses to skills, ability checks, and other spell effects. There are really a lot of options for what they do, especially if you start adding in powers of cracked or flawed stones. In the case of flawed stones, they give a bonus and a penalty which is why they cost less, and cracked stones provide a weaker version of their pure bonus.
