This actually is well timed, as I am running a Rakshasa raised sorcerer villain in next week's game.
I do have a question about an ability though.
Revealing Eye (Su) At 15th level, you gain the ability to see things as they really are for a number of minutes per day equal to 1/2 your sorcerer level. This ability functions as true seeing, but it does not need to be used in consecutive rounds. To activate the ability is a standard action.
The duration is listed in minutes per level, but using it in rounds is also referenced. Does this mean that it's actually 10 rounds per level since the sorcerer need not use them on consecutive rounds?
For example, say I'm level 16 and activate Revealing Eye for a combat. It only lasts four rounds. Does this use up 4 rounds (leaving me with 76 rounds) or does it use up 1 minute (leaving me with 8 minutes)? Essentially, is it measured in minute increments or round increments?

Glad this could work for your game. It's a good question because of the semi-confusing reference to both minutes and rounds. It's measured in minutes that can be used nonconsecutively. Meaning 8 minutes that you can chop up as you want. So you can activate and dismiss the ability, but your player has to track his usage.

Well, yes, but if he uses the ability for 4 rounds does this use up 4 of his 80 rounds (since 8 minutes measured in rounds is 80 rounds) or does it use up 1 of his 8 minutes? That's my question.
Round-based, like Boots of Speed. So it would use up 4 rounds. He's essentially set for that day with the use of true seeing in combat, unless he forgets to dismiss it. The important thing is that the player will need to dismiss it, or it's up to your discretion to indicate that "so many minutes have passed, make note."

Hey guys, my Rakshasa bloodline was posted today on KoboldQuarterly.com. Thanks to those who helped me put the final touches on this before they accepted it.
