Can I also add that Cayden clerics make any campaign more fun?

Fixed that for you.

I can't wait for Kingmaker. I've decided I am going to play a cleric of Erastil and I'm really anxious for #32. I think playing a cleric in this AP in particular is going to be very interesting. A big part of building a kingdom is going to be building the church in the area after all ...

Doh! ;)

While I don't know Marc really well (and he should really set up his profile), I can vouch for him that that was a typo. I can't imagine him being snarky like that.

Hey Adam - Under the Better Late Than Never heading ...I finally did! ;)

I didn't know you could use "trilled" like that, Marc. ;)

Heh ... stupid spell check!

Fixed now - thanks :)

I had not really looked too closely at the new classes announced for the APG although I certainly was aware of them. Recently I took a better look at the final playtest beta ... Specifically the Oracle, since I was thinking of playing a Cleric and I knew the Oracle is a divine caster class like the Cleric.

So ... Wow. Pretty cool class. Essentially, the Oracle is like a divine version of a Sorcerer. Meaning it is a divine caster that casts spontaneously from a smaller selected list of spells (in this case divine instead of arcane) and then gets cool, thematically flavorful powers based on a specific choice at character creation (mysteries instead of bloodlines)

I really like this ... so much so that I might consider trying an Oracle in Kingmaker instead. How would Oracles fit into the AP? Would they fill the same basic roll a Cleric would (building a church once the kingdom is established, spreading his religion to the people, serving as the king's main religous advisor etc.)? Or is an Oracle intended to be a more "singular" type of character, if that makes sense ... kind of in the same way a Sorcerer tends to be compared to a Wizard?

So many of the APG classes can work in Kingmaker.

Alchemist?: He decided to go look for more exotic ingredients than what was available in his home town.

Cavalier?: On his way to fight the world wound, he eard about taming a new land and thought it a noble exercise.

Inquisitor?: That one I haven't figured out yet.

Oracle: easily can be from the river kingdoms, actually almost made to come from there.

Summoner: Again haven't figured this out.

Witch?: Like Oracle, can easily come from the River Kingdoms.
