Liberty's Edge 5/5

There should not be any information posted about scenarios. I understand they may be needed for discussion, but that should be done through private email. I also understand they are read voluntarily, but come on. It takes so much fun away from being a GM and a player to have the PC's with prior knowledge to the scenario and how to complete their faction missions and so on. Grant it players can read the bestiary and know how to kill specific creatures without the appropriate knowledge, is very similar. However, spoilers can just ruin things for writers who put in the fun surprises.

There's also nothing stopping a player set on finding spoilers from purchasing the scenario and reading it ahead of time. Whether one gets spoilers by clicking spoiler links on this or another online PFS community or finds them through other means, cheating is cheating. But eliminating the ability for GMs, designers, and developers to discuss, clarify, and interpret published scenarios will not foster a supportive PFS community.

This forum's rules state:

"This forum is for Pathfinder Society GMs to discuss game play experience and seek clarification on scenarios. Threads in this forum may contain spoilers for players."

So these threads will contain spoilers. If your players are cheating and reading ahead, then that's another matter entirely. One that I may have to deal with severely.

I both play and GM. I'm also honest and do not read senarios I have not played or am not prepairing to run. Heck I don't even look at the record sheets ahead of time.

Anyone who really wants to cheat can just buy the scenario. I'd suggest you just find better people to play with.

LOLOLOL Yoda, I think I love you man.

I'm sorry your guys, or other people you know, are cheating various scenarios AZ, but it'd be better to discuss viable consequences that can and should be levied against those players with Josh.
