By the by, has anyone seen the new Wolfman movie? Any good?

Edit: Ha! Two in a row!

Spoiler:
That's interesting Urizen. Now I'm curious, I have a very good friend that isn't atheist, but also isn't sure if there isn't a higher power.

Where do you stand with this?

I wondered why the new comercials had him saying " Me... love....you... longtime." :D

Heck, he's shilling local ambulance chasing attorneys out here. He got to make the money somehow now that Boston Legal is done. Man, I miss that show. But I'm happy that ABC has come back with The Deep End.

Just saw it with the wife night before last. Not very scary, but very good.

I don't think that would fly well with my mom. Plus, when I take, it will be for life. I'd rather die than divorce.

I thought that way once too. But that's been five years ago. Besides, if I didn't, I'd miss the Italian cupcake I'm nibbling on now. ;)

Ah, it's good to be a hedonist.

The girls are gone so there ain't anything to pillage, unless you want to risk the Were-Badgah's wrath by messing with the pecan sandies.

The Deep End is great ain't it? I like Rowdy, need more Rowdy! However I keep expecting someones head to get cut off on account of the Kurgen running the Law Firm.

Urizen's Thoughts:
I don't believe in a "higher power" in the figurative / monotheistic sense. But as to how we were created / come into form, to that I remain agnostic. That's because I don't know and fools suffer who believe they do know. It's all conjecture. I'll probably read and contemplate until my dying day on this. It'll keep my brain cells working well into my 300's. :P

Cool! I plan to go, and I'm hoping to find a buddy to go with. No way will the wife see it, especially after I refused to go see that damn Valentine movie with her.

Yeah, but then I thought the Blanket of Comfort was RPG Superstar worthy.
Having actually ignored the entire thing, what exactly is the Blanket of Comfort, and do I really want to know?
Sadly the item I didn't enter. Basically it is an enchanted blanket that when a lonely person lays under it, it transforms into a willing partner of the appropriate gender.
Oh yeah, I think I remember you saying something about that. Definitely an interesting idea. I can totally see some lonely old wizard creating something like that, although not just as some kind of sex slave.

True, true.

I would gladly kill several people of questionable moral fiber and sell their belongings to earn enough money to buy this item.

We should expand beyond the boat. After all, there's poodles swarming all over the place and the OT Army just doesn't cut the mustard. We should pillage and trample with iron hooves!

Yeah, the woman and I were talking about Rowdy last week..."Does he ever do anything there? I've never seen him work."

It's weird seeing the Kurgen being the nice guy and Billy Zane being the Lord of Darkness. But it gives me something to watch on Thursday nights as I'm not into Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice; but it's her shows so we watch 'em. Correction. She's watching them and I'm typing to you guys. :P

I don't think there is a character on the show that we don't like. Yeah a kinder gentler Kurgen does take some getting used to.

I've been meaning to watch Fringe, but Supernatural .. I dunno. Fringe kinda reminds me of the X-Files, but when I see Joshua Jackson, I can't help but think of Dawson's Creek....ick.

You forget that pretty quick when you watch the show.

Yup; I like 'em all. We got pissed when they had The Unusuals on for one season and cancelled it. We loved that show. The only other thing I have to watch for is when Nurse Jackie comes on Showtime for its second season. That's the only reason for me to pick up a premium movie channel. Very dark comedy.

Good night, Moorluck! I hope you feel better tomorrow.

I may have to get the earlier seasons on DVD to watch. It annoys me when I watch a program in the middle w/o knowing what happened prior.

Purgatory? Limbo? The Waiting Room scene that they have on William Peter Blatty's theatrical release of Exorcist III?

Exactly! Walter Bishop is one of the best characters I think ever invented. John Noble is awesome in the part. Plus, they've got Leonard Freaking Nimoy as a guest star! Kick ASS!!!!!

And Supernatural is cool. Sharp writing and a good long-term story that has built really slow for the last four and half years. For some of the monsters they really dug into various cultural myths.

I is sad now.
