Multiclass feat - how does this work?

Hi,

We have a guy who has taken the Student of Battle multiclass feat (he is a Cleric). It says he can use the Warlord class feature once per day (Inspiring Word). Does that mean twice during an encounter once per day OR once per day full stop.

It means one time, total, per day he can use that power as if he were a warlord of his level.

Yep. Essentially, where the Warlord Inspiring Word entry says: "Encounter (Special)" and then explains what that means, you simply replace that with "Daily", no further explanation needed. Thus, one use, full stop.
