Alright, the wording's a little vague on this one...I have a player who's summoning Celestial Giant Ant Drones...and it's a beast at 3rd level. When I checked the wording of the spell it nowhere indicates giant ant, and summon monster three states that you can call a soldier ant...an option I dont see in my PF Bestiary. On the d20 PFSRD I found the stats for a soldier ant, but the CR is lower then the drone's and if that's the case why isnt the soldier ant the summon for Summon Monster 2 and the drone for Summon Monster 3? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated... I was pretty impressed with the way the dron fought. It was divebombing ogres into a grapple pretty reliably.
It is widely theorized that either the Ant Drone wasn't supposed to be on the list, or that the Ant Drone and Soldier Ant got reversed.
I'm expecting the Ant Drone won't be available with SMII after the next errata.

That's what I was thinking...I might play it that way. Your druid guide is causing me problems, Mr. Treantmonk... lol you did a damn good job on that by the way.
I'll miss my Celestial Giant Ant Drone, but there are still a few fun choices to play with. Maybe a Giant Frog or an baby Earth Elemental(earth glide is fun).
Earth Glide is one of the better summon monster powers I've seen. I sure liked it when I played a a wiz.

Quick solution: Check out my Wizard guide for an NPC. Take that Druid down a peg ;)
Actually, on a serious note, check out the Druid Guide - I made it pretty clear which stuff I figured needed errata. If you are the DM - just houserule it. The Druid will still be effective afterwards.
I believe one of the Paizo staff mentioned in one of the errata threads that it's supposed to be the giant ant worker, not the drone (or the worker and drone stats got switched in the bestiary, I forget which).
