why this product is cool (my initial list)
- it's for Pathfinder
- it's about mimics
- it's about aboleths
This is what monster books should be! Instead of $X for Y monster stat blocks (*yawn*) you get a huge book (24 pages) of amazing fluff and crunch centered around a novel connection between some great existing monsters. It's written and developed by some top notch guys from around here (including Hugo Solis)!

I started playing Torchlight this weekend - I'm a D2 fan to the point where I never have and I probably never will play anything else. Torchlight is D2.5 and I'm loving it! The point is, they included the Mimic as a monster - and it so sweet to click on a treasure chest and have it jump up and start biting me...
