I had a great time editing this for Steve and recommend everyone check it out, if not in print, then at least on pdf. With 101 feats, it would be impossible for any player or GM not to find a feat or two to try out. I hope you all enjoy it and can't wait to hear the feedback.

Liberty's Edge

Ordered mine just then. I'm excited to see the final product!

Will there be a PDF only version?

Yes. It will be available here on Paizo.com and on DriveThruRPG on Sunday, November 1.

Feats 101 Pdf only at Drivethrurpg and the Paizo Store for some reason is not up, may take them a day or two.

Scarab Sages

Cool... my players have been waiting for stuff like this.

And Rpgnow/Drivethru rpg staff reviewer Nathan Collins gave us a 5 out of 5 Star Review.

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

Quote:
I wanted to send it to other publishers who are making books of Feats to show them how it is done.
Quote:
This is the only complete feat book I have allowed in my campaign, and I consider myself a strict DM.

I would AGREE with this analysis. This book is a very good feat source book, and it would behove most publisher to take a look at this book on "how to do feats".

Most (maybe 85%?) are very playable, and not over powered. Obviously, there are a few "restrictive" ones, but they aren't too bad.

For $5 for the pdf (I'm a big pdf fan), I would say it is certainly worth the pickup.

Liberty's Edge

Yeah, this is a VERY good resource... I've already got players using a few of these feats. Great work!

Awesome!

Stark VP, let me know which feats are being used, I would love to hear about those :)

Our group's fire mage picked up Incendiary Spell as soon as you previewed it. :) Same player's already intending on using Danger Prescience with his next character as well... and Monstrous Physique is EXACTLY the feat that our heavy weapon fighter's been wanting for a while. Our Assassin really likes Armor's Gap and plans on taking it for his next feat as well, followed by Exploit Opening. Great stuff!

I'm really excited about the Mystic Healer feat. It's gobs better than Augment Healing, since it'll keep your lower level heals (cure light/moderate) useful into the mid teens.

Stark Enterpises VP, Sean FitzSimon

Thank you, this is the the kind of response I always hoped for.

Course with Mystic Healer you can roll a one :(

I talked to Vic today he was out of the office so it should be up on Paizo tomorrow.

True, but even four 1s are better than the +2 you get from augment healing on cure light wounds- and they stack!

This is the sort of feat that works well for partial casters, and "caster lite" characters like the paladin and bard. You don't really get the uber high level spells to benefit from Augment Healing, and it also works with your other abilities (lay on hands, soothing performance).

Sean FitzSimon,

Yep that was the idea not to tie a feat down to specific class.

Thanks for noticing

Steve

Who will probably now have to put down writing Races of Questhaven to write a sequal to Feats 101.....maybe Magic Items 101....

Feats 101 is now available as a PDF only at the Paizo Store
