4e Thieves' Guild

4th Edition

Does anyone know if there is a stat'ed thieves' guild hideout the PC's can plunder, either from Dungeon magazine or the Delve book?

EDIT: I'm looking for something in the paragon tier.

Beyond a few encounters, they haven't done a full-on thieves guild yet.

Is this a request? I am often looking for things to do in 4th edition, and would make you a thieves guild if you like. Shoot me a pm and give me some time and I will do my best to give you a functional thieves guild in return, that is if you dont mind player created stuff...

If you have access to DDi check out the article The Bloodghost Syndicate in Dragon 366. It has a map of their hideout. The article is also available in the Dragon Annual. If you do have access to it then you can adjust it to paragon level in the monster builder.

Thank you! That is very helpful.

Thank you, that's very generous. However, I can't guarantee we use it (I just want the option in case the players go a certain direction) and I'd hate to have you write something out unless you have additional plans for its use. Also, I'm not sure how to pm or email you.

I enjoy these things so don't worry about me ( i will probably repost it on my bloggy thing as well).

Aiming it at mid Paragon level?

About mid-Paragon, around 13 or 14. It's for my Shackled City campaign. I want the PCs to have a chance to have a final showdown with the Last Laugh. If you are not familiar with the campaign, the Last Laugh is a "jester-y" kind of thieves' guild. They often paint their faces - one side white, the other side black.

Thanks for your help! Where is your blog?

So, not that this will necessarily end up being exactly what you're looking for, but the November D&D editorial calendar just went up.

November 13th will see an article posted entitled "Guilds & Groups: Thieves' Guild".

I will do my best to portray the last laugh.

It may take a while, but it will be coming. (besides i needed more rpg fodder for my blog)

Since this will be featured in Dragon, I'm assuming the article will target players. Regardless, I look forward to the article.

Well, there are a good deal of DM-orientated articles, at least based on the articles they printed in the Dragon Annual. Once again, I recommend looking at the Bloodhost Syndicate article. If nothing else, the map of the guild headquarters seems generic enough for your purposes.

Insider articles have been switched to a player-focus vs. DM-focus split. Player articles will be appearing in Dragon, and DM articles will be appearing in Dungeon. This month was the first to feature this split, I believe.
