Lord of War: This movie is actually pretty great, you guys. I think it was designed so most MAIN_STREAM IDOEOLOGYS would find something to relate to. (I read a pacifist theme.) Nic Cage is not that great* an actor, though, especially in the opening sequence - he really needs to learn how to smoothly take a drag from a cigarette and down a shot of ALCHOLHOL. Of course, there are other actors too, but I didn't recognise any of the names. I am giving it an A- to keep s@@* real.
Edit: Also, kind of disappointed that no one said "swack."

I did something for all of you. I guess I'll just copy-paste it from here.
"Success: The progressive realization of worthwhile goals in all major areas of a balanced life."Edit
a process
ongoing
progressive - goals will get more challenging
emphasize "being" over "achievements"
"worthwhile" - you decide
balance - applies to all seven of the major areas of life
professional life
physical life
family life
spiritual life
social life
mental life
community life
Reaching For Your BestEdit
Natural abilitiesEdit
Everyone has more natural abilities, physical and intellectual, than they realize
You can always do more to strive for your potential
The question is not how much you have, but how you use what you have
How can you better use what you have?
The Principles of SuccessEdit
They apply whether you believe in them or not.
You choose: Use them purposefully to your advantage or aimlessly to your detriment.
Ten Principles:
Giving - "Whatever you give, that's what you will receive." "Action-reaction." "You reap what you sow." "Radiation-attraction."
Based on two fundamental assumptions
"You never get something for nothing."
"You always have something to give."
Key word: "First" - "Give [first], and you will receive."
Creation - "Decide what you want, define it clearly and specifically, and write it down."
What do you want? "Burning desire." "Fire in the belly." "Eye of the tiger."
Goal setting - by what process do you establish goals?
The "ballistic" method
The "I Have a Dream" method
SMART - Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic, Timely
Write them as present, positive statements.
Chunk 'em down.
Vision - "When you have decided what you want, defined it clearly and specifically and written it down, do everything you can to visualize it in your mind." "I'll see it when I believe it." "The will to succeed."
Vacuum - "Get rid of what you don't want to make room for what you do want."
Command - "What you say is what will happen to you, so say the things that you want to have happen." Ask yourself, "Is that what you want?" If not, then don't say it.
Action - "Do it now!"
Focus - "Be here, now!" "You must be present to win." "One pitch at a time."
Focus on the positive, not the negative.
Focus on the present, not the past.
Focus on the process/execution, not the result - or winning the approval of others.
Focus on the target! When you're focused, you're confident and relaxed.
Self-Discipline - "Do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, whether you like it or not."
Enthusiasm - "Love it!" "Put everything you've got into everything you do."
Persistence - "I will, until."
Proper Self ImageEdit
The most powerful element
Your behavior is consistent with the image you have of yourself as a person
You are who you think you are - who you tell yourself you are!
How can you change your self image?Edit
Realize that the image of you have of yourself was formed in error.
From experiences of the past
Distorted interpretations
Erroneous input from peers
Because it was formed in error, it can be changed.
Decide what kind of person you want to be.
Qualities you admire in others
Historical figures, family, friends, etc.
Write it down.
Spend time with that person you want to be every day.
Read it to yourself every day, if possible, out loud, in front of a mirror.
