Liberty's Edge

Sentence fragments!

Liberty's Edge

What is their deal!

Liberty's Edge

Oh and I guess naked sentence fragments. So:

Liberty's Edge

sentence fragments

Liberty's Edge

Yeah that basically makes no sense whatsoever and I still have twelve minutes to kill.

Liberty's Edge

Damn Having Taken a Class Like This In High School thing.

Liberty's Edge

It makes it SEEEEEEEEM so easy.

Liberty's Edge

ToP!

Liberty's Edge

Guys, what do you do when something you really care about (read: geek out) stops publishing?

Liberty's Edge

I'm really pretty worried that Andrew "Veracious Dude" Hussie may not fulfill my expectations for the ending of Homestuck.

Liberty's Edge

Wait, who the f$$+ am I kidding. According to pretty much all evidence (old forum postings, recent forum postings, "VD" himself, TVTropes), people do not get disappointed in the long run.

Liberty's Edge

This is all a long way off, of course.

Liberty's Edge

Judging by current doubling of acts . . . 36000 comics away.

Liberty's Edge

Which means like a year or so.

Liberty's Edge

Also: I'm not sure how I'm going to cope when I start reading MSPA serially.

Liberty's Edge

When I finished reading, he was just finishing up the leadup to the End of Act 5.

Liberty's Edge

It's like - - --WAIT NO

I SAID NO EMOTIONS DAM WELL EMANT IT TOO>

Liberty's Edge

Oh, yeah. Here's what I've been wondering for a while:

Liberty's Edge

You guys are all old people who wear belts, right?

Liberty's Edge

Well, due to unknown circumstances, I've had to start wearing a belt too.

Liberty's Edge

But when I'm using a urinal, it's like, WHAT?

Liberty's Edge

I mean if the belt has the right end on the right side, then it's not a problem. Otherwise, I'm worried it will get piss on it.

Liberty's Edge

And I know you guys are all old and are always like, "F~@+ hygeine!" but this is really a problem. A BIG F~~#ING PROBLEM>

Liberty's Edge

You can tell it's a big problem because I swore.

Liberty's Edge

F#+% s+$+ it's 2000 here so I better go.

I don't think I am in the river kingdoms any more.

No s*@%! They're in the 4000 ARs. I am talking like 2200.

Liberty's Edge

IN THE PEE EM>

Liberty's Edge

Wait, that sounds wrong in light of previous posts.

Liberty's Edge

Anyway, Apparently my sense for needing to study (for this test, read: not) is pretty accurate. Unless I f#~%ed up amazingly. Which is possible, I suppose.

Liberty's Edge

Kickin'.

Liberty's Edge

Wwell, I better get some sleep. Another long day ahead.

S%** WWHY AM I SO ELATED RITH NOWW> It's not like I'm listening to great music or watching cool vvids or anything especially awesome. WWHATEVS

Night all.

Liberty's Edge

Oh, and this SHOULD be the last you hear from me/I spam the OTD for a feww days. Depending on how much reading I get done. <Crosses fingers for good Wwill saves.>

Liberty's Edge

Lord of War: This movie is actually pretty great, you guys. I think it was designed so most MAIN_STREAM IDOEOLOGYS would find something to relate to. (I read a pacifist theme.) Nic Cage is not that great* an actor, though, especially in the opening sequence - he really needs to learn how to smoothly take a drag from a cigarette and down a shot of ALCHOLHOL. Of course, there are other actors too, but I didn't recognise any of the names. I am giving it an A- to keep s@@* real.

ACUTAL SPOILERS FOR A 'PRETTY GRTEA' MOVIE:
Oh, and about a second after the music changed ominously, I was like, OH S!@+, and then the car exploded, and then I was like, OH S$$!, and then I was like, OH S@%# I JUST SAID OH S$!~ AFTER I SAID OH S+#&. I then proceeded to flip the f+@+ out. When Vitaly began his death sequence, I pretty much sat transfixed.
Might copy-poste this to the thread where I was asking people about this stuff.

Edit: Also, kind of disappointed that no one said "swack."

New goblin song posted. Click to read.

If you are a teenage girl, please don't track me down and hurt me.

Liberty's Edge

Nervous Ticks: The wworst comic you will ever hear of. It's so bad it's . . .

Liberty's Edge

I'm a pre-teen girl!

Wwhat's a brisket?

Liberty's Edge

I'm honestly pretty much certain that I've never heard a Taylor Swwift song.

Brisket. Yum.

Bah!

Last-minute romantic getaway plans from player and fiancee have sabotaged tonight's game!

Lame!

Ravengro. Shiznit, they're still only in Ravengro. Every minute they stay in town, they get weaker and every minute The Splatter Man squats in the bush, he gets stronger.

The horror! The horror!

Liberty's Edge

I did something for all of you. I guess I'll just copy-paste it from here.

FOR LENGTH:
How can YOU be the BEST you can be?Edit
"Success: The progressive realization of worthwhile goals in all major areas of a balanced life."Edit
a process
ongoing
progressive - goals will get more challenging
emphasize "being" over "achievements"
"worthwhile" - you decide
balance - applies to all seven of the major areas of life
professional life
physical life
family life
spiritual life
social life
mental life
community life
Reaching For Your BestEdit
Natural abilitiesEdit
Everyone has more natural abilities, physical and intellectual, than they realize
You can always do more to strive for your potential
The question is not how much you have, but how you use what you have
How can you better use what you have?
The Principles of SuccessEdit
They apply whether you believe in them or not.
You choose: Use them purposefully to your advantage or aimlessly to your detriment.
Ten Principles:
Giving - "Whatever you give, that's what you will receive." "Action-reaction." "You reap what you sow." "Radiation-attraction."
Based on two fundamental assumptions
"You never get something for nothing."
"You always have something to give."
Key word: "First" - "Give [first], and you will receive."
Creation - "Decide what you want, define it clearly and specifically, and write it down."
What do you want? "Burning desire." "Fire in the belly." "Eye of the tiger."
Goal setting - by what process do you establish goals?
The "ballistic" method
The "I Have a Dream" method
SMART - Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic, Timely
Write them as present, positive statements.
Chunk 'em down.
Vision - "When you have decided what you want, defined it clearly and specifically and written it down, do everything you can to visualize it in your mind." "I'll see it when I believe it." "The will to succeed."
Vacuum - "Get rid of what you don't want to make room for what you do want."
Command - "What you say is what will happen to you, so say the things that you want to have happen." Ask yourself, "Is that what you want?" If not, then don't say it.
Action - "Do it now!"
Focus - "Be here, now!" "You must be present to win." "One pitch at a time."
Focus on the positive, not the negative.
Focus on the present, not the past.
Focus on the process/execution, not the result - or winning the approval of others.
Focus on the target! When you're focused, you're confident and relaxed.
Self-Discipline - "Do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, whether you like it or not."
Enthusiasm - "Love it!" "Put everything you've got into everything you do."
Persistence - "I will, until."
Proper Self ImageEdit
The most powerful element
Your behavior is consistent with the image you have of yourself as a person
You are who you think you are - who you tell yourself you are!
How can you change your self image?Edit
Realize that the image of you have of yourself was formed in error.
From experiences of the past
Distorted interpretations
Erroneous input from peers
Because it was formed in error, it can be changed.
Decide what kind of person you want to be.
Qualities you admire in others
Historical figures, family, friends, etc.
Write it down.
Spend time with that person you want to be every day.
Read it to yourself every day, if possible, out loud, in front of a mirror.

Actually, I can't remember if it was here that I promised to post that. Oh well. A promise is a promise.

IN OTHER NEWS:
Playing a communist goblin in an all-goblin commoner (with at least one commoner flaw each!) game. S#~~ is pretty fun. Got some hobgoblin threats on the way. Oh, and I made a map of our adventures so far. (Going down the coast.)

Wow this post is a font of concentrated creativity.

@DA: DAMN PPL HAFFING LIEVES> Also, I guess I should get to pestering this one guy about starting up that Carrion Crown game, huh.

Once again, right after I post here I finish an act.

Just Act 5 Act 2 and the omniscient a$*#@@~ intermission left.

And less than two days.

For like 1473 pages.

And I've got homework.

TO DO>

WILL I MAKEIT:?

Spoiler:
Who am I kidding of course I'll make it. I recently decided that I am a god of knowledge and making stabilisation checks. I don't know how these relate to reading comics quickly, BUT I AM A GOD>
<Proceeds to flip the f@$@ out.>

Liberty's Edge

Also I found this.

Oh, poor, poor people who don't know how to spell right.

Liberty's Edge

Oh, hey guys.

Liberty's Edge

I am not down to the wire or anything.

Liberty's Edge
