Why are there two FAWTL Threads? :-k

We are slowly taking over. This is as it should be.

See: Self-obsessed a$&~!~@.

Non-crazy self-deprecation for attention: Dammit! I just realised this is kind of a jerk move. I have a thread all to myself, essentially. I guess I'm just posting once a day (on average), but it's still bad. Umm I guess I'll stop posting on Monday. I shouldn't have time to fritter then.

Liberty's Edge

I learned the meaning of a new word today: maximalist. It is pretty cool.

Two threads? There are LOTS more than two.

Liberty's Edge

The life cycle of the housefly.

JohnRosemond2012: Elite troll and family psychologist.

A few snippets from today's collumn: "I am convinced that the less technology, the better the life . . . . the technology in my life consists of a laptop, basic cell phone, stereo system, DVD player, flat-screen [sic] television, ROKU* and a Digital Video Recorder [sic]."
"I recently ran across news of technology available as 'apps'"

*What is this even?

Andy Roonie (sp?): we've got you covered.

Liberty's Edge

I got a haircut a couple of weeks ago. (see main FaWTL)

Today has been pretty good, even if it was mostly spent on homework. Tomorrow I've got an even longer day (6:45 to 21:30 compared to 6:45 to 15:45). I should probably stop loading images (avatars) on here since I'm in the library so much, even if I'm only reading political threads.

I finally loaded OpenOffice. Tomorrow I'm going to register my bike and this THANG with Campus Safety.

I'm going to get Con Air tomorrow (I assume that the [public, not university] library will have it). WAIT BERAIN WAIVE> I CAN WATCH IT ON THIS COMPUTER AND I WONT HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THURSTDSY NIGHT> YES>

Where's the king of the monkeys? I haven't seen him around in a while. Maybe he's a teacher or a student.

I spend as much of my at-home time as possible watching this with the speakers turned up as loud as they go without too much distortion and held up to my ears. It's basically the most spoileriffic comic yet in MSPA (soon to be beaten by the Act 5 ending, probably), but the combination of music and images is SO GOOD. I - I guess you shouldn't watch it. <snip> WATE BRAENWAIVE: LINK. According to my bro, it's not actually that great of music, but to him I say: whatever. To him I also say "You don't like metal[-loid, for purists]."

Archive panic: What's up with that? (OH WAIT THATS WHAT I HVAE WITH XCKD I GUESS?)

You know what is a pain? HAVVING A GIANT BIAKE WITH GIANT WHEELS THAT WONT FIT ON THEH BUS RTACK> SO U HAF TO UZE UH BUNGY COURD THAT IS A PAIN TO GET OFF AND ON> You think people are judging you.

You know how graphene bikes are FAEWESOME?

Well, up that ante by a factor of x, where x is arbitrarily large, and then get ready to be amazed:
the graphene calculator.
You heard it here.

Oh, and I never said I would cease posting here. Just that I wouldn't post on Monday. PROMISE: FULFILED>

Neither, in fact.

Hey! I've been lurking on FaWTL for a few days, and I haven't seen you. I guess this proves once and for all that even translations of a name makes that individual appear.

. . . Is there some notification thing TETRE did that everyone but me knows about?

I haven't been posting for a while due to computer troubles, not feeling well, and not really having anything to say.

I just happened to read this post on a whim and saw your question.

Also, I've been trying to get the word out to some friends via email (more difficult than you might expect given my failing computer and their habit of only checking email 2 or 3 times a week) about the campaign to raise funds for a second season of JourneyQuest. If you haven't seen it, check it out and maybe try and donate a little money to help them make more.

I know about this. I'm a student, but I might donate some tomorrow. It'd be great if they could do a second season, but when I looked at the meter (a while ago) I sort of got Donation Panic. It's good that you're doing this, though!

It looks promising. They have already raised over $40,000. Remember, even if you can't donate, try to spread the word. The more people who know about it, the more people will (hopefully) donate, the better chance of it continuing.

Yeah. I can start a thread about it, but I don't know any rich gamers (age category=poor) to email. (Actually, everyone I know who would be interested in it already knows about JourneyQuest. So Mission: Complete.) Go ahead and post in FaWTL too, if you haven't yet.

Today's anagram: Perfromance (n).

I mentioned it in FaWTL last week. Seemed like everyone ignored it.

Perfromance (n): Nara?

Got no funds to help 'em. :(

I know the feeling, Treppa. I don't generally have the money to donate to things either, but every year I save a few dollars a week to use to treat myself to a nice dinner, a night at the movies, and maybe a DVD or two for my birthday/Christmas. This year I thought I would use some of that money to try and help. Besides, if they don't meet the goal, I get to keep the money and still treat myself. So, win/win for me at least.

So, I'm up to 100 favorited posts! And I think 78% of them are favorited by Gark the Goblin!

Thank you, comrade, for the goblin solidarity!

I made a new goblin song, if anyone is interested.

Over 300 favorited posts for me? I'm not working hard enough.

I have 21 favorited posts. Apparently I'm trying too hard.

Sorry, everyone else: Goblins are naturally handsome.

I'd probably be at 21, too, if it wasn't for Gark.

And, yes, goblins are sexy.

Liberty's Edge

I have seven!

Liberty's Edge

WAITE> I meant to say, "So the library appears to lack Con Air. Which other Nic Cage films should I look for?"

Ho, dan roufneet fof Granny Dell OS monophilia cums form em!

Liberty's Edge

I mean me!

Liberty's Edge

F&%#ing aliases.

Liberty's Edge

Oh, and I AM doing this.

Liberty's Edge

were DOING THIS MAN> WERE MAKING SITH APPEN>

Liberty's Edge

I should probably link some people to SBaHJ.

Liberty's Edge

CAUSE THEY ARE FLAWESOME>

Liberty's Edge

Flawesome is what you say when you're extra angry at crimes.

Liberty's Edge

Wait no.

Liberty's Edge

I didn't mean to say that.

Liberty's Edge

Please disregard anything stupid that comes out of my mouth.

Liberty's Edge

I MEAN KEAYBORD F++* THIS DAMMIT>

Liberty's Edge

Flawesome is the adjective meaning "so bad that it's good."

Liberty's Edge

I stole the idea of awesome alteration from FaWTL and also Dinosaur Comics.

Liberty's Edge

Though that one was more talking about awesome suffixes and adverbs and s~$+.

Liberty's Edge

Anyway, it means "so bad it's good" except that it actually means "so bad it's F&!&ING AEWSEOME>"

Liberty's Edge

TVTropes had an article about that. Sorta like power creep?

Liberty's Edge

There is also a trope entitled "Up to Eleven."

Liberty's Edge

It comes from when electric guitars used to only be able to go up to ten or something.

Liberty's Edge

And then they came out with the eleventh knob, which made stuff really loud and distorted.

Liberty's Edge

I wish my speakers had a knob that went up to eleven.

Liberty's Edge

It only goes up to 10, though. And even then it gets pretty distorted.

Liberty's Edge

Not that that'll prevent me from turning it up to eleven for wall-punching music.

Liberty's Edge

Wow, the library is really active right now.

Liberty's Edge

I really hope there aren't any rules about fun stuff.

Liberty's Edge

I mean, I'm on my own laptop, so their only bills are a bit of power (I've got the screen at a low setting) and wireless.
