Well, Gark since you ask:

Spoiler:
Oh hey Dogs are cool. That's great.

I am doing fine, writing and riding. Reading. Rating?

Apparently my great-uncle and great-aunt aren't letting my great-grandma spend her money. So that's not so good.

Have you seen this one?

I am saddened to have to report the death of Tramora III Peasantsbane.

We should have noticed the change, but we didn't. After getting geas-ed into not being able to kill peasants anymore, Tramora had lost the will to live.

After a particularly bad patch of adventuring in which he contracted mummy rot and had his Strength and Con seriously depeleted by a leech swarm (at least he didn't get kissed by a vargouille, like Dok!), Tramora decided to snuff it and committed suicide-by-girallon flesh golem.

Lodi Carene's player hilariously improv'd Tramora in the afterlife:

He awoke surrounded by polite, overall-wearing yokels who talked of nothing but the weather and the price of wheat. Every time Tramora tried to hit one, his hand would pass through the grinning, toothless farmer.

He screamed while, on high, Asmodeus smiled.

Hey there everyone. Hope that all is well with you all. If not, then I hope that things get better sooner than later.

Fellers, that's what we in the biz' call "Karma". *sweeps up the mummy dust*

Liberty's Edge

Nooooooooooo, not Tramora!

Is the Black Goblin gonna create a new character, or are we looking at Tramora IV: Die Hard 3?

In other news, I haven't been fired yet, so I suppose it's safe:

Spoiler:
So, I was at work the other day and I noticed that three of my guys were standing around a package, talking and pointing animatedly at the box. "Hey, Doodlebug," they cried, "Come here!"

So I went over. It was a big box, one of many that some rich kid was using to ship his stuff to (or from) college. It had obviously been used before, and there was a large split down one of the seams. I got closer and one of my guys is pointing inside the hole, saying, "Doodlebug, look in there!"

So, I look. And inside I see a tupperware container with...rolling papers...and glass pipes...and...yup, a 1/2 oz. of primo headies!!!

"You know" says the first guy, "We could..."

"No," I said.

"What if we just..." starts the second guy.

"No, I said," I said.

"But what could he possibly do? Call up and complain?" asks the third guy.

"I said No! How would you like it if you shipped your weed through UPS and somebody stole it?"

"I wouldn't be stupid enough to ship my weed through UPS," he answers. Smart-ass.

"Shut up and get back to work!" Maybe I should consider a position in management?

Anyway, it turned out the box was headed to my truck, so I took the box and taped it up and sent it on its way. But not before slipping in a note that read:

Spoiler:
What are you, stupid? Don't ship your weed through UPS!

I'm sure there will be another Tramora some day, but next up he's making an elven magus. I have no idea what a magus does.

I'm going to try to convince him to make Tramora as a PFS character.

Doodlebug Anklebiter wrote:

Casts arcane spells and swings swords. Kind of like an EK, but only gets 6th level spells and doesn't have the full utility of a wizard. If he's an elf he might use the spell dancer archetype which gets a mini-haste ability he can use pretty frequently, so there's that.

Well, that's going to be a stretch for him. I don't think he's ever played an arcane caster before.

I have decided that from hereonin, all my Golarion elves are going to be, if not gay, then heavily leaning towards bisexual.

I'm going to see if I can gay sex the Black Goblin up.

From pretty much every source I've ever seen that went into the subject, bi elves is pretty much the norm. Apparently being that long-lived makes them prone to experiment with just about anything.

Funny. Goblins are like that, too.

It's a both-ends-of-the-spectrum thing, I think.

Elves do it because they live so long and get bored with the same old same old. Goblins because they live so short and thus have to try everything as quickly as possible. Close?

I think that's just about right.

Variety is the spice of life.

Spoiler:
Awesome. And I doubt you have anything to worry about. Like your coworker said, it's not like the guy is going to say, "Hey, some UPS guy slipped me an insulting note about the weed I was shipping!"

How goes things here? Haven't been on looking through the threads in a while.

Hope all are well.

If goblins do it in the street, where do elves do it?

Things go well enough. I've not contemplated a ritual sacrifice to the Great Old Ones in ... days!! Although my mind seems to be slipping a bit, so perhaps an overconfident burglar will break in, succumb to the feline-induced "circle of awwww" ... and wind up in the stew pot. ^__^

For some reason they left that out of the Lord of the Rings.

It was in the Bombadil section.

Tom Bombadil is the shiznit, son!

Also, Tolkien was a notorious prude.

That webcomic makes no sense to me whatsoever. Everyone was cosplaying it at Otakon, I felt so confused..I guess it's how everyone else feels when I geek out over Gundam cosplayers.

Have you seen this one?

You are a bad person.

:)

Had to back it.

Liberty's Edge

The Gamers is a cool thing. Even "rad," some might say.

Liberty's Edge

Homestuck is also "cool," in a few days it will be a full year of ranting about it here. Have I mellowed? Not at all.

Wow, you're newer to it than I am if that's when you first discovered it.

Just checking in. Not totally inactive, just busy. I'll get back to you guys with stuff after I get back from my backpacking trip in the mountains.

Liberty's Edge

Ooh backpacking.

And yes, compared to many people I am pretty new. But you should see tumblr, everyone there is like way newer. I can say that I was there before DirkJake.

I avoid tumblr. Too much wretched grammar, too much plagiarism.

Liberty's Edge

Plagiarism? Like people removing the link to the original post, or posting art without attribution/permission? Yeah, that's kinda s**@ty. Everyone always yells at the person who did it. From what I've seen.

Also Wretched Grammar is Quirky and Fun.

I've seen the opposite, anyone who points out "this is stolen" gets drowned in the cacophony of voices saying "wow that's really good work".

Liberty's Edge

You are "obviously" hnging around the wrong sections of tumblr.

I dunno, I haven't been on in a while, but the people I followed were generally pretty cool people. Tumblr is making a s#+%load of Teens (TM) get into art and comedy and writing, and I think that is a good thing. Even if some of them are shallow or ungrammatical.

Apparently. I don't have the patience to sort through the thing though. I have a couple of people I check occasionally, and one that I use for a thing sometimes, but otherwise don't bother with it.
