Andoran

Sounds very awesome.

In other news, Click and Clack are retiring, which makes me unbelievably depressed.

My local radio station has also relegated Terry Gross to the 7:00 pm slot!

Andoran

One other thing! I find it funny that RIP threads for musicians get moved to Music and Audio, but literature-writers get to stay here.

Weird, huh?

How is everyone doing here today?

Official Doodlebug Anklebiter ruling:

Prometheus makes The Avengers look like a Saturday morning cartoon.

That is all.

Andoran

I haven't seen either. I hear they're good. (Whedon of course!)

Not sure if The Avengers is still running.

The Avengers was still playing as of two days ago.

Dude, The Avengers is a supergroup comic; a saturday morning cartoon fulfills the audience entertainment contract. (No, I haven't seen it.)

Also, this

Okay I need to see Prometheus and like tonight.

Yeah, do it!

That Watchmen thingy's pretty funny, Lord Dice, but I wish they'd come up with a better theme song.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

It was the only Watchmen-derivative work that Moore approved of. Take that for what it's worth.

second time, I visited the southwest and Hawaii in 1998 with my family.

but this time it is:
- the first big holiday in 10 years
- first big all alone holiday with my lady
- paizocon
- all self-planed, 98 it was a guided bus tour
- I can meet paizo-board-people
- I will propose to my girlfriend in NY

Saw Prometheus last night great film.

New to me:

Gandalf vs. Dumbledore

Darth Vader vs. Adolf Hitler

Hee hee! and NSFW!

I'll be catching it on 3d at 4:40 this afternoon. What's annoying me is that the cable company is supposed to be sending a guy over between 1 and 3 to replace my wifi router that died. He called me at 8:30 this morning, but I wasn't ready to answer the phone yet. Called him back at 10. Said he may be running early and he'll call me at noon. It's 1:15 ET now and no word.

I need my wifi up and running again, but I'm not missing out on the film when I've already paid the bones to see it.

Grr...

Andoran

Leave your dog to deal with him.

Andoran

In other news I have determined once again that yellowdingo is the best forum member.

Why? What's he up to now?

DEFYIN' EVILUSHION AND SPOILIN' MAH BUZZ! DAT BOYZ CRAZEE! INVALIDATIN' DARWIN AND SHEEHIT.

Problems with New Hampshire I noticed while driving back from a beer run:

1) The deer and moose think they should have equal access to the streets.

2) The hawtest chick in town is a skinhead with white pride tattoos.

3) The gas station is where I purchase most of my non-homecooked meals.

Osirion

2 people marked this as a favorite.

You could resolve all of those problems, Doodlebug, if you drove an 18-wheeler with a giant Green Goblin head on the front. And played AC/DC really loud.

That is a pretty awesome idea, but I'd have to get a CDL and that would, how shall I put it, cause lifestyle conflicts.

[bubble bubble]

Me and the Black Goblin were drinking and checking out the Geek Match site.

I came up with what I thought was a pretty cool profile ("Communist Pothead Teamster looking for a Soulmate into Joss Whedon, punk rock and oral sex") but it turns out they want money before they'll post it.

If I wanted to pay money for a match, I'd just go to Craigslist.

[Vomits copiously and passes out]

[Cleans up the vomit]

Ditto! Gratz, Aeglos!!!

Andoran

I was thinking that was something I missed out on and then forgot to congratulate but congratulations!

Oh and yellowdingo is up to things in his new shiny thread.

Andoran

Where everyone is?

I am hoping that I will get into Russ Taylor's game. With the aliens and such.

Also: Perilous Paths looks amazing.

I'm right here. Crying about the Chamberlains.

Andoran

Why did they get fired or something for not laining the chambers enough?

Work, work, work, all day long...work, work, work while I sing this song...

How's tricks, my goblin comrades?

I'm alright, although I was on vay-kay last week and it totally screwed up my sleeping schedule. If I do anything except troll the internet, I'll fall asleep, which will only prolong my sleep schedule being f&@@ed up.

Hmmm, hold on a second...

Open Gaming Convention

For those New England Fawtl Refugees who can't make it to PaizoCon.

You had mentioned a con up above somewhere, hadn't you, psionichamster?

Hmm...that's actually only about 3 hours away from me.

I have work Sunday the 29th as is, but might be able to swing Fri/Sat.

I shall have to check the old calendar thingy more closely.

Hope vaca was super fun!

Yeah, I had mentioned ConnectiCon.

That week I'd have Sat/Sun/Monday off.

Hmmm. Things to consider.

Andoran

East coast more like . . .

You say that like it's a good thing.

Andoran

The Midwest is the middle-best.

It's not completely the best but it's still pretty good.

The Mediocrewest.

PH that doesn't prove anything just that Norway drinks a lot of coffee. And, coincidentally . . . .
Norway is in the West of Europe!

Spoiler:
Pwned!

Ha!

Yeah, I was planning on having some graph or what have you that said NYC consumed more coffee than anywhere else, but lo and behold...Norway!

I guess it really does get cold up there, eh?

Andoran

Pfffffffft reeb.net.

Reebet.

One more exam left! The easiest one, hopefully!

I need more aliases. I also need more ideas to make more aliases...
