Book of Divine Magic

Listen to me talk about The Book of Divine Magic (and other 4WFG products) in the Know Direction episode 002 podcast. Ryan Costello Jr. interviews me about the book and other subjects as well as one of the segments in this episode.

when are you releasing The Book of Divine Magic 2: Oracles, Inquisitors, and Templars ?

I'm just curious

Yeah, since Paizo (unlike certain company ran by Sorcerers of the Shore) intends to keep splatbook crunch open content, we would LOVE to see 3PP working on new classes from APG.

After we get a look at the APG sometime next year, we might consider producing a book of new stuff available for the new classes. If we did do something, I wouldn't expect it until at least this time next year, though. If we do decide to produce such material, we will make an announcement here about it.

That said, odds are good that the majority of our future books will support the Core Rulebook and our own supplemental material. Nothing is off the table, though, so long as it is Open Content.

Also, I'd think that there might be quite a bit of material from the current book that could probably fit in with the APG classes easily enough. The new domains and deities, for instance, could probably be used for these upcoming classes just as well as they are for the Core Classes. I can't say for certain until we see these classes, of course, but I could definitely see there being, at least conceptually, Oracles of Bast and Templars of Ambur, for example.
