Sorcerer LvL 7 Feat Help

Advice

Silver Crusade

Im Little Torn Apart choosing a Feat at LvL 7.

Im a Tattooed Sorcerer Draconic Bloodline specialized in Evocation
My Stats 8/14/14/14/10/20 (incl Headband).
My Feats : Improved Ini, Spell Focus (Evo), Mage Tattoo(Evo[Granted]), Spell Spezialisation (Fireball for now) and Toppling Spell (MM).

My Familiar is a Meat Whip (Greensting Scorpion)

I have an Extend , Elemental and Silent Rod and will get an Intensify Rod soon.

I have 3 Feats im interested.
1. Greater Spell Focus (Highter DC for Fl Sphere , Fireball etc). Not Much but "Save".

2. Impr Familiar Feat for an Imp:
He will be sitting on my Shoulder as an Raven and will give cruel
Advice in situations (" Show no Mercy. Kill Them.Kill them all" if someone wants to surrender etc).
Which will give some Flavor and respects his "nature".
In Combat he will go invisible and Poke people with his Wands that I give him to support the party (Umd +15 for Healing, Prot Against Evil etc etc).
BUT I loose 4 Iniative

3. Persistent Spell but I think this one is better at LvL 9.

What would you Choose

I feel Intensify is good enough for a Feat. Later levels you will probably be boosting Fireball and your other spells Higher than 3rd level spells with Empower, Dazing, Persistent, or Quicken.

I see a Lack of Spell Penetration in your feats. Level 7+ SR starts to crop up. You could put it off till Level 9. But I recommend picking it up and then grabbing Rod of Piercing and/or D. Essences to increase it further for those big boss fights with good SR.

I feel Toppling spell should Be on a rod as past Level 7 it's return is terrible.

Can you retrain Toppling for Intensified??

Silver Crusade

Spell Penetration is a good Feat that I overlooked.

I wont retrain Toppling Spell. I had to much Fun with it and it deserves its Place.
I only need Intensify for my Fireball/Burning Hands for now and it should be enough with that.
I play PFS and my plans for my 4th and 5th Levels spell don't need it.

Do your research on Toppling. It is all over the Forums. I always just buy a lesser Rod of Toppling for 3/day magic missile cause it can hit 5 foes at 1 time, tripping them all. But there are a lot of enemies level 7+ that just neuters toppling for one reason or another. I am sure you have had your fun with it but that fun is about to diminish due to the level 7 power creep the game has built into it's system. Maybe a few levels will make that more apparent to you, I just hate to see people suffer with feat picks.

Silver Crusade

Thank you being Concerned.
I understand your Argument but I have the Magical Linage Trait for MM and Precious Spell caster on MM.
Till LvL 5 I was a Monster Earning my Sorcerer the Nickname "Living Gatling" (At LvL 5 I had 5 Missiles +14 to Trip).
Its just part of the Character and I have enough Spells that are useful at higher Levels.
While I like good and functioning Characters I don't want to minmax every bit out of it.

Spell Pen, Focused Spell, Improved Familiar. Intensified is a better lv9 feat. Improved familiar is pretty much always worth it, both in flavor and mechanically.

I would grab improved familiar at lv7, intensified at 9, spell pen at 11, and quicken 13

Agreed on toppling retrain. Its fun but the math hurts. Do note that on the advice boards we typically go for optimization. Rule of Fun always trumps optimization. GLHF

Have you considered Dazing spell? You can't use it yet, but at 8 you can start churning out the pain. Intensify Spell is also definitely worth a slot for an Evoker. No objections. You use it too often to burn character wealth on rods for it. Greater Spell Focus is also worthwhile. You're married to damage, so make sure you do it more often. If this is NOT for PFS, I'd also consider grabbing Craft Wondrous Item. It may not give damage to your spells, but it helps a heck of a lot in the utility area.

Have you seen the Bloodline Mutations?
You can exchange your Sorcerer Feats and abilities for them, not sure if they're PFS legal but they may be something to check out.

i love Dazing Spell but sadly its a +3.
Since I play PFS (maxes around LvL 11) its not really an Option.
Maybe for an Intesified Burning Hands.

Blood Muatations are Great!I will get Blood Piercing at LvL 9 for sure.
Havoc (the Best One) isn't Legal.

Dazing would be one of your last feats or buy a rod late game.

But a Dazing Snapdragon fireworks, Chill Touch, Flaming Sphere/Aggressive thundercloud, or Acid Arrow works wonders. All those spells have damage that can be reapplied due to multiple charges of the spell or the spell lasting for many rounds.
