I'm working on a homebrew base class called the Gloomblade. Basically a duskblade that uses Shadowcaster mysteries instead of Sorcerer spells.
Anyways, I was considering using a mechanic where the Gloomblade can cast each mystery he knows a number of times per day equal to his Int bonus. He would gain 1 known mystery per level.
How broken would that be? A 20th level gloomblade with an 18 Int would be able to cast 80 mysteries a day!!!
How focused and specialized should each mystery be?
