No more summoning genies?

Rules Questions

Genies of all kinds are absent from the summon monster lists. Did I overread something? Is there a "how to add choices to the list" paragraph I haven't found?

Cool, no more wish loop.

Cool.
Finding a Genie for a Wish will actually be an exciting adventure in itself, rather than an automatic thing.
This makes the Daivrat (Sha'ir-analogue PrC) alot more unique and flavorful, too.

Nature's Ally got buffed up, with more interesting choices including Fey and Giants. Yay!

That seems odd.

Looking at the list, it looks like they included the alignment corners (archons, azatas, demons, and devils) but left off agathions, axiomites, daemons, and proteans, as well as the aforementioned genies.

I suppose we will see an updated Summon Monster table coincidentally with the Bestiary?

It was not needed to exclude them anyway, as the spell reads:

"Creatures summoned using this spell cannot
use spells or spell-like abilities that duplicate spells with expensive
material components (such as wish)."

And all the less useful, since the only way you get some of your class abilities to work is to use planar binding or ally. You can't just summon a shaitan to spank the demons that are bearing down on you right now.

Answering my own post: looking at the list of critters in the Bestiary clears this up somewhat; the agathions, axiomites, daemons and proteons are not in Bestiary I, hence they don't appear in the Summon Monster tables in the core book. Presumably they, and an updated set of Summon Monster lists, will appear in Bestiary II.

Genies (all five varieties) ARE in Bestiary I, so why they do not appear in the tables is still a question.
