Honestly, I'd have ordered it sooner, but for some reason the order page isn't compatible with my version of Internet Explorer so I had to wait to get Firefox downloaded. :) You really had me sold with the additions of the Sorceror bloodlines, which are always intriguing. I LOVED the School Feats, and will be using them in my game ASAP. Please, remember to repost that order site for the hardcopy when future products are available, and I'll order ASAP.

The bloodlines have been one of the most well-received parts of the book, and that makes us happy. :)

Awesome!

You bet we will!

Hi Sean
As the editor for the book I can state that many of the spells are bardic oriented. So there should be plenty of use for any arcane spell using class you care to play.
The book however is more support / general in nature, not specifically combat oriented, so keep that in mind if that is the sole intent. For gamers / campaigns in general it is a superb resource.
Of course if that Eldritch Knight is a Sorceror in background adding on any of the new bloodlines will give excellent boosts in combat.

Does the book offer any support for sword mages (eldritch knight, etc), battle bards, or melee friendly arcane characters?

What he said.
Seriously, though, Tad nailed it on the head. There are some great spells in the book that a combat-oriented bard or other melee friendly arcane character would most likely find useful as well, such as charge of the valiant, macehand and rogue's gambit.
