A similar error occurs in the Brass, Bronze and Copper Dragon tables.

I can´t find the Elemental Spell School spell lists.
They definitely aren´t hyperlinked from the Elemental School Specialist page.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/golem.html

For the Stone Golem, it says:

PRD wrote:

Golem, Stone

This towering stone automaton bears the likeness of an archaic, armored warrior. It moves with ponderous but inexorable steps.

Goelm, Iron–Golem, Stone

Golem, Iron–Golem, Stone

Stone Golem CR 11
(etc.)

The two extraneous lines should be deleted.

A round of updates has been posted.

Thanks for all the updates, Ross!

This is a minor nitpick, but I'll bump it anyways.

hogarth wrote:

Enthrall has the descriptor "language dependent" instead of "language-dependent".

Hey Ross - The main PRD page doesn't show a datestamp of today (or anything recent other than 1/25) of an update summary. Will that be updated with a summary of the changes like before?

I've made doubly sure the message should appear. If you're still not seeing it, try clearing your cache.

Ok there it is, cool thanks!

The PRD has been again tweaked.

Small error in the 6th-level WITCH spells. The shield part of unwilling shield leads to the shield spell.

That reminds me...

There are a large number of dubiously linked individual words in the APG portion of the PRD (e.g. the alchemist's Shock Bombs has the word "Shock" linked to the Shock weapon property and the witch's Blight hex has the word "Blight" linked to the druid spell Blight). I think at one point Ross mentioned that the idea was to keep the links in the PRD the same as the links in the APG PDF. So is it worth pointing these sorts of incorrect links out, or are they going to remain the same as in the PDF for consistency's sake?

Please point them out. 99% of the links in the APG and GMG material were generated by robot, so it made some stupid ones.

Okay, at first glance:

Witch -- The names of the hexes Blight, Disguise, Retribution and Vision are linked to various unrelated things of the same name.

Alchemist -- The words "shock", "frost" and "poison" in some of the alchemist discoveries are linked to various unrelated things of the same name. Also, for consistency "Dispelling Bomb" should be "Dispelling bomb".

Cavalier -- The words "Aid", "Shield" and "Retribution" in some of the cavalier's order abilities are linked to various unrelated things of the same name.

Inquisitor -- The name of the Destruction and Resistance judgments are linked to various unrelated things of the same name.

Continuing:

Oracle -- The following words in the names of oracle curses and revelations are linked to various irrelevant terms: Vision, Darkness, Sidestep, Whirlwind, Mount, Glide, Throwing, Transformation, Spark and Vortex.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/spells/unhallow.html#unhallow

In the description of the Unhallow spell, "remove fear" and "cause fear" are not hyperlinked.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/coreClasses/druid.html

In the Desert Druid, the word "Endurance" in "Desert Endurance (Ex)" is unnecessarily hyperlinked.

In the Jungle Druid, the word "Endurance" in "Torrid Endurance (Ex)" is unnecessarily hyperlinked.

In the Plains Druid, the word "Run" in "Run Like The Wind (Ex)" is unnecessarily hyperlinked.

In the Urban Druid, the Knowledge domain is incorrectly linked to the Knowledge skill.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/coreClasses/rogue.html

The words "Getaway" (in "Fast Getaway"), "Cunning" (in "Cunning Trigger"), "Poison" (in "Lasting Poison" and "Swift Poison"), "Disguise" (in "Quick Disguise" and "Master of Disguise"), "Stealthy" (in "Stealthy Sniper"), and "Second Chance" (in the ability of the same name) are incorrectly and/or unnecessarily hyperlinked.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/spellLists.html

The druid spell "Creeping Doom" is not hyperlinked on the spell lists page.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/horse.html

There's a closing parenthesis missing in the following sentence:

Quote:
Docile (Ex) Unless specifically trained for combat (see the Handle Animal skill, a horse's hooves are treated as secondary attacks.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/manticore.html#manticore

The last words ("special attack") in the last row/column of the Manticore's Mate/Offspring table got inadvertantly shunted into a new row.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/spellLists.html

The paladin spell "Bless Weapon" is not hyperlinked.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/advancedSpellLists.html

Under the earth specialist and summoner spell lists, Acid Pit is marked with an "M" (for an expensive material component). It should be marked with an "F" instead (for a focus). The sorcerer/wizard listing is correct.

The viking's hp are listed as 64, despite being stats for the viking in a rage.

His correct raging hp are 80. 2d12 (avg 13) plus 6d10 (avg 33) plus 32 (con) plus 2 (Barb favored class)

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/linnorm.html#linnorm-ice

Under the Ice Linnorm's CMD entry, it says "(can'tbe tripped)". There's a space missing.

The PRD is intended to reflect the most current printings of the related books. Where those printings contain errors, the PRD therefore contains those same errors.

What process would you recommend I follow if I find an error when I'm looking at the PRD web site? Frankly, I'm not terribly enthused by the idea of having to drag out my copy of the APG (say) and/or the latest version of the errata to the APG to figure out if something is an error in the PRD web site or if it's an un-errataed error in the APG (and thus is not an error in the PRD, per se) or if it's an errataed error in the APG.

When you find a content error in the PRD—an error in a stat block, for example—odds are very good that that error is in the latest printing of the book as well. The PRD formatting errors that you've been reporting—incorrect links, missing spaces, table formatting and such—are the types of things Ross will be able to fix, and we very much appreciate you reporting them!

Thanks, Vic. I'll try to keep content-related errors out of this thread, although it's not clear from my side that a missing space is qualitatively different from any other kind of typo (e.g. an "M" instead of an "F").

It's different in that it's more likely to have been introduced in the process of creating the PRD.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/coreClasses/sorcerer.html#serpe ntine

In the serpentine bloodline, there's a missing space:
"Whenever you cast a mind-affectingor language-dependent spell [..]"

(Emphasis mine.)

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/halfCelestial.html#half-celesti al
http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/halfFiend.html#half-fiend

The half-celestial and half-fiend entries both have a table of spell-like abilities that is only partially hyperlinked. In the case of the half-celestial table, some hyperlinks are even incorrect (e.g. neutralize poison is linked to the spell "poison" and mass charm monster is linked to "charm monster").

Also, in the half-celestial unicorn's AC line, there's an unnecessary paragraph break between "+4" and "natural".

I hate to nitpick, but there's still a couple of things missig from the half-celestial:

-"Pro. evil" still isn't hyperlinked (gee, those abbreviations look gross, but presumably they're necessary in the print version).
-The word "Mass" got deleted from "Mass charm monster".

Liberty's Edge

There are quite a few pages in which the main links down the left side of the page are not active.

Some examples:

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/coreClasses/paladin.html

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/additionalMonsters/achaierai.html#achaie rai-

The black bars run all the way across the page (even covering up the links on the left side)

Examples:

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/monstersByTerrain.html

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/creatureTypes.html

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/magicItems/staves.html

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/magicItems/wondrousItems.html
Note: on this page, the actual item text does not actually start until after the left side links, leaving a large blank area when you first access the page

These issues are now fixed. I went ahead and made sure there aren't weird abbreviations in that table anymore.

Mark, I could not replicate the link issues in the left navigation menu using the links you provided. However, the issues with the headers spanning the whole page and causing display quirks may be a result of your browser. What are you using to view the PRD?

I can't answer for Mark, but I use IE7 on Windows XP at work and I see this problem from time to time.

For instance, right now I have the bugbear page open (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/bugbear.html#bugbear), and I can't click on the links in the sidebar. It looks like the page background is somehow over top of the links. For instance, the "stat-block-breaker" horizontal lines are overlaying the sidebar (i.e. they span the entire page from left to right), and if I right-click on one of the links, it instead offers to let me save the background as "pageBackground.jpg".

Strangely enough, on the brownie page (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/additionalMonsters/brownie.html#brownie) , the page background is only overlapping the links from "Glossary" to the bottom of the sidebar. I guess that's because the Bugbear entry has a "stat-block-title" block and the Brownie doesn't.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/spellcastingClassOptions/m onk.html

In the qinggong monk's list of possible powers, the feat Ki Stand is not hyperlinked, and the feat Step Up and Strike is incorrectly hyperlinked to Step Up.

Also, two hyperlinks appear to be broken: Gliding Steps and Deny Death.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/spellcastingClassOptions/a lchemist.html

The internal alchemist's bonus feat list is missing some hyperlinks: Extra Ki and Lightning Reflexes (which is misspelled as "Lighting Reflexes").

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/combat.html#bull-rush

"who is no more than on size"

Should read:

"who is no more than one size"

(emphasis added)

Also, the Greater Bull Rush Feat is mentioned, but not hyperlinked, under the Bull Rush combat maneuver.

Thankya!

I was reading through the Ultimate Combat PRD info, and found a few errors. I hope these are helpful. (I did not look at the spells at all)

Gunslinger Archetypes
Musket Master's Weapon Proficiency: Should this be "She must take the Exotic Weapon Proficiency (firearm) feat to gain proficiency with one-handed firearms and firearm siege engines." instead of "two-handed"?

Piecemail Armor
Torso table, Do-maru, speed: This seems like the 20' speed and 30' speed are reversed.

The rest are all seemingly incorrect hyperlinks. I left out a few that seemed pertinent (like Master of Disguise linking to the Disguise skill)

Gunslinger
Under Deeds, "Gunslinger's Dodge" has "Dodge" hyperlinked to the unrelated Dodge feat.
"Menacing Shot" has "Menacing" hyperlinked to the unrelated Menacing weapon enchantment.

Ninja
"Shadow Clone" is hyperlinked to both the Shadow armor enchantment and the Clone spell.
"Slow Metabolism" and "Slow Reactions" are both hyperlinked to the Slow spell.
"Uncanny Dodge" (and Improved a bit below) link to the Dodge feat.
"Blinding Bomb" links to the Blinding armor enchantment.
"Shadow Split" links to the Shadow armor enchantment.

Barbarian Archetype
"Reflexive Dodge" links to the Dodge feat.

Cavalier Archetype
"Mounted Acrobatics" links to the Acrobatics skill.

Inquisitor Archetype
"Witch's Bane" links to Bane weapon enchantment.

Magus Archetype
"Perfect Strike" links to the feat of the same name, but is not the same ability.

Feats
"Cartwheel Dodge" links to the Dodge feat.
"Felling Smash" links to the Smash feat.
"Improved Feint Partner" has flavor text that links to the Knowledge skill.

Firearms
"Emerging Guns" has "Craft Firearms feat" link to the craft skill. Also, this feat does not seem to exist; perhaps "Gunsmithing" feat instead?
"Flare Cartridge" links to the Flare spell.

Hmm... for some reason, I thought Gary Teter's link went to this thread instead of "THE NEW PRD" thread.... I must've had too many tabs open at once.

Should I re-post this there?

Combat Chapter Errata (Core Book)

Quote:

How Combat Works

Combat is cyclical; everybody acts in turn in a regular cycle of rounds. Combat follows this sequence:

1. When combat begins, all combatants roll initiative.

2. Determine which characters are aware of their opponents. These characters can act during a surprise round. If all the characters are aware of their opponents, proceed with normal rounds. See the surprise section for more information.

3. After the surprise round (if any), all combatants are ready to being the first normal round of combat.

BEING should be BEGIN as far as I can tell...

In Opera 11.51 and IE 8, the the Special Abilities table (on http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/glossary.html) doesn't wrap. Makes it really hard to read.

The Daemons section (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/additionalMonsters/daemon.html#_daemon) doesn't show the monsters CR.
