Where on Golarion does Shackled City belong?

I am sure that this has been asked already, but where would be best place on Golarion to start the Shackled City AP?

Silver Crusade

I'm not that familiar with Cauldron, but could it work as one of the (not so)"hidden cities" in the Mwangi Expanse? Like one that was discovered about a century or so ago, was settled, and has secure supply and trade routes despite its relative isolation in the jungle/veldt. Maybe a few outlying villages and farms too. Possibly near the borders of some of the neighboring countries to allow for multiple cultures to come into play.

Sovereign Court

It's a smaller city in the middle of a dormant volcano near some jungles if that helps out at all.

Kind of curious myself. Is there an unofficial deity conversion list from Greyhawk to Pathfinder?

Sounds like Sargovia. (Spelling?)

There is a thread that tries to tackle that already.

I placed my Cauldron in Sargava by the Deeptreasure mine, but I made it a meteor crater rather than a volcano (among various other changes). So Sasserine would be Eleger instead. Here's the map I came up with:

I'm putting the Demonskar in the Kaava Lands.

You speak truthfully.

In any event, the search I attempted did not lead to the thread you offered. (It is, however, how I found the information of SCAP to Golarion deity conversion.)

I did have the advantage of posting in the thread and knowing where to look. So yeah.

~sighs and shakes my head sadly~ We had such high hopes for you. ~grimaces~ Oh well, some people like to take sarcasm to a higher degree than others.

I'm starting this as a second campaign for some players and looking forward to it. I'm placeing Cauldron in the mountains that border the Sodden Lands and the Mwangi Expanse.

One question I do have, who do people think is a better substitution for St. Cuthbert: Abadar or Iomedae? I'm leaning toward Abadar, but not 100% sold.

I'm substituting Erastil for St. Cuthbert and Abadar for Wee Jas (obviously not a direct translation).

Depends on which end of the LG you want to end up on. Abadar leans more towards law and Iomedae more towards good. Cuthbert always seemed more lawful than good, but I personally would go more with Iomedae.

Personally, I would always go more in Iomedae! ;D

I have another conversion question... Based on the Pathfinder interpretation of Gnomes, it seems that they are a bit inconsistent with a race that would build something like Jzadirune. My first thought was to just make it Dwarven, but then I thought 'What about the Derro?' They are more closely related to Pathfinder gnomes, right? Would Derro be a good choice for being the Jzadirune builders with some of the funky machinery/constructs down there?

For my running of the AP I put Cauldron in the Kaava Lands, northeast of Senghor, east of the ruins of Boali and just west of the river. That puts it in a jungle area as per the AP background and in a fairly isolated place. Since Sasserine is mentioned in the AP I placed that on the coast just north of the Cauldron. Actually I felt that placing Sasserine was more problematic, since it's a normal port town which should appear on maps. Cauldron is meant to be isolated and thus less well known.
