My fellow players were a pretty high-end bunch, but the dice turned against us in the final encounter. A memorable squashing.
I expect this to be a rather lengthy thread.

I was part of a 5 PC kill-fest that allowed Greg to pour out all his frustrations at not having killed as many PCs as he'd wanted in earlier sessions.

Pre-Gen: Seelah (paladin 7)
Death by: Reduced to negative hit points while trying to free her fellow companions who succumbed to a Huge black pudding; quickly followed by a fireball from Ezren that finished the job on everyone caught in its clutches. We totally should have run after Valeros got pulled into the black pudding. But Harsk tried to free him...then got pulled in, too. So Seelah tried to save them both. Alas, all to no avail. No good deed goes unpunished, I suppose.
Best Moment: Getting confused by the aranea, fleeing for one round, then turning on Seoni and whacking her good before she cast web to slow Seelah down...but the paladin's flametongue longsword made short work of that barrier. Luckily, the confusion wore off before the sorceress lost her head. But Seoni soon died thereafter in an ice storm from the same aranea anyway.

Greg made it very entertaining. And I got to play alongside Wolfgang Baur, as well. Very cool scenario. And very in line with the challenging spirit of other Necromancer adventures.
